Could We Use Trey Burke

The more I learn of Dennis Lindsey, the less that pick makes sense to me. Still I was excited and hopeful at the time, and there hadn't been much excitement or hope in Jazzland for a while before then.

I'm happy for Trey, and wish him well....except when he plays against the Jazz.

I am so happy for Burke. The man has completely resurrected his career. I don't know how though. Every time I saw him play, he didn't even look like an NBA player.
His rookie year he played a preseason game in Boise where he broke his finger. In that game before the break he looked outstanding. And then he had enough games that caused Jazz mgt to ship him for a couple of 2nd round picks in 2197 or something like that.

It's honestly weirder to me that he's struggled so much to this point than that he suddenly might be an NBA player.

People want to roast the decision to grab the college player of the year that led a team to the national championship game and that was almost unanimously, emphatically supported at the time. I'm not a revisionist.

Both Trey and Enes were a waste for the Jazz. We should have drafted other players instead but who would of known their progression with Utah. Happy to see Trey find his game but I will always think of Kanter as an idiot.

He was small and slow and only an average shooter and passer. There were a lot of people who wanted DL to swing for the fences and go with a physical specimen like Giannis or Schroder. A lot of us hated the Burke pick at the time too.

You'll have to quantify "a lot" because the dissenters sure seemed like exceptions that proved the rule.

The argument that going back to school gives anyone an advantage over being in the NBA for a redshirt season is extremely flawed (and rather silly) IMO.

Calling an argument that no one is making "silly" is "silly" Please read the post.

Do not want Trey on the Jazz....BUT, I did pick him up in my fantasy basketball league. He may just be the extra push in stats I need to win the chip!
