A brush with destiny -- Celtics at Jazz 3/28/2018 7:30 pm MST

I like Rubio’s curl to the left elbow. That’s a good shot for him. Feels like the Jazz are alternating between great intensity and sleepwalking. These young Celtics have something to prove. If the Jazz let them hang in there, it’s going to bite them in the ***.

Barry Larkin is killing us. Jazz hitting absolutely nothing.

In my angst against Paleward, I forgot how much I dislike Boston in general.

Three point shooting sucks tonight. Jazz have got to hit threes and defend. Force them inside and force them to hit long twos. Hate the way this quarter has been played. Absolute **** on defense.

Quin needs to rip them up a bit. That was terrible basketball. I love Rubio, but I don’t think it helps Donovan to be off ball every time Ricky is out there.

Mitchell needs more touches.

Considering how bad that 2nd quarter was, I'm pretty happy we're only down 9. Should be a bit of a wake up call at halftime after Snyder gets after his guys. Then, it's Donovan time to take us to the W.

I think Mitchell should pace his efforts better. He chills in the first half, then goes crazy in the second.

Simply pathetic.
As Sloan would say, Jazz have plenty of shooting guards, but the team needs a making guard. Decline options on everyone possible and go after some players who cam actually put the round ball in the hoop. Defense does no good if you can't shoot the ******* basketball.

Jazz are going to be stuck in mid-tier hell; not bad enough to get a lottery pick who could improve the team and not good enough to contend. Rubio is back to missing everything. Gawd, I hate Bricky.

Ainge knew what he was doing when he dumped Jerebko and Crowder.

Was gonna chime in before tip off that this would be the worst loss of the year if it happens. Sooo, yeah, let's not have that happen.

This ^^^

So frustrating to see him start slow and then get cooking in the 3rd/4th quarters. I could see him consistently getting to 25-30 per night if he’d start out a little more aggressive. I think he’d get other guys into it more by pulling defenders to him. When he’s on, he has gravity to spare.

Regroup at halftime and go nuts on them down the stretch. No excuse to let the Celtics lead us like this on our own floor.
