Jazz 2017/18 Playoff Bus! All Aboard!

Actually no. Houston had HC in the 2008 playoffs 1st round against the Jazz. Jazz never had HC advantage in the 1st round of the playoffs in the D-will/Boozer Era.

Without checking and I don't know which year but I think we got home court one year despite having a worse record due to being a division winner before they changed that.

We should have been the 5th seed but got the 4th because of the division winner rule.

But maybe it worked against us?

This is how I remember the Boozer/D-Will playoff series:

2007 - vs Houston, won game 7 on the road
2008 - vs Houston, won games one and two on the road
2009 - vs. LA, we were the 8 seed and lost in 5 games
2010 - vs. Denver, won game two on the road in the Boom Bitches game.

It has definitely been since the Stockton/Malone era since we were a Top 4 seed. Maybe 1999?

We were the higher seed for the reason you mentioned but didn’t get HC because of the lesser record.

b/c b4 they had that division seeding rule.

anyway, what are the chances jimmy buttler comes back? that would be a damn tough game.

On his first game back from a long absence? He'd probably be rusty and on minutes restriction.

Ricky doubtful for tomorrow, reports Kyle Goon.
I hope Donovan finds his shot and goes full on unstoppable D Lillard on the Wolves. Just singlehandedly stomps them putting up another 30-40 point performance with a monster dunk on KAT and a couple of beautiful dimes running PG.

sure as hell hope so! If buttler's back we need somebody to have a career high game that night to win.

We should want Portland to lock up that 3 seed so they start Meyers Leonard and Caleb Swanigan against us lol.

On a side note, Brad Stevens ran a zone in the 4th against the Raptors and confused the **** out of them and destroyed them 28-15 in the quarter, so at least it's not just us...
Have to be able to beat any kind of defense - man to man, zone, full court press. . . doesn’t matter. You should expect anything coming into the playof push.

they got a good group to run the zone

I have a gut feeling that somehow Rubio is going to play. He gets a meaningful game against his old team this late in the season? It will be interesting to see if he plays or not
