Jazz 2017/18 Playoff Bus! All Aboard!

Only watching score updates on POR/HOU, but looks like Chris Paul just hit the game winner (most likely) with .8 seconds left?

I closed my gamecast thinking this was well over. It was an 8 point game with 1:30 left. Just checked again and see the same thing.

That was a kick in the balls. Portland came back from 17 down with a couple of guys l never heard of and end up losing.

Harden looked completely disinterested, lol.

Win tonight and it’s 2 games behind with 3 to play. Last game of the season could decide 3/4...

So the reward for the 3 seed would be the Thunder in round one and the Warriors in round 2?

Think I’ll root for the Blazers.

This is a really good point. Playing the Spurs/Rockets would probably be preferable to that. It would just be really cool to get the 3 seed in principle.

Tough question. Of the six, i know i dont give enough respect to Toronto. Yet there they are, ready to clinch the top seed in the East. Boston had the best record, without Hayward, before injuries finally caught up to them. Stevens is a helluva coach and they've had the best defense. But Philly with Simmons, Embiid and Lebron? Damn!

But how do you rank any of those teams higher than GS or Houston? I think all of the teams would be capable of 60 wins. Would come down to health and maybe other acquisitions. I think of all the teams, Boston might be better set up to withstand key injuries.

Im just hoping DL can make some moves. Losing Favs would be a blow if equal talent cant be acquired. Not worried about X; i think DL is prepared to match almost any offer. And that leaves Utah needing one more shooter, IMO...unless Jae or Royce can improve like Ingles did.

Yeah I would love to see the Royce we saw prior to the All Star Break for a full year, and if Jae could make a leap that would be great. I think we bring X back too, and as well as he plays to Favs I would love to see him back also. With Thabo and RR coming back, I think we are right there. Just a little bit of growth, and a healthy year for our key guys and we are a scary good.

...Lebron to Philly?

I think it's a right of passage to beat the Spurs, and I think the Jazz could do it if everyone is healthy. They really rely heavily on Aldrige, and I think we can get to him. I don't think their shooters like Mills, Green and Ginobli can really carry them anymore.

BTW, the Warriors don't look that great if KD isn't having a great shooting night.

I do too but not sure we had a great shot to get either... maybe could have had Lou if we gave up a pick to LA but think we had a couple chances to land Tobias.

Here's the plan. Jazz make waves this season in the POs and make it to the WCF losing in 7 games to the eventual champs. Added exposure helps DM earn a trip to the All Star game the following year where he recruits two second tier *** to come to Utah. Dynasty ensues and Jazz look like a reboot of the Spurs run of the decade winning title after title. Utah becomes the model for the rest of the league on how to build a winner and tanking is a thing of the past.

Jazz now 1.5 games out of the 3 seed, and also 1.5 games from missing the playoffs altogether. Crazy west.

Definitely a good sign to eviscerate the last two West playoff hunt teams we’ve faced. Teams with arguably even more to play for than us.

I thought butler was coming back tonight. He didnt play in the first half. Minny up 5, i hope Denver wins.
