Jazz 2017/18 Playoff Bus! All Aboard!

I installed a train horn. You heard those things? No mamby pamby bus horn on this ride. I took it to trick my ride. We have a DJ, open bar, door security, reclining plush seats and next season I am opening a second story with a pool in the back.
Im still up front with my Red Stagg. Haven't left my seat since day one.

May the Grizzlies have the power of Boris within them, and do to the Thunder what Boris definitely did to these women:

Praise be unto Boris. And the Churro.

It would take the biggest single game tank in history to lose to the Grizzlies tonight. Who cares about the thunder they aren't even top 5 in the west right now.

Utah Jazz getting respect in Germany

That is a seriously good video. I'm really impressed at his NBA knowledge in general, and his Jazz knowledge in specific. If any of you understand German, it's definitely worth watching. Even if you don't speak German it might be worth watching for the highlights he selected.

Could you translate for us?

I get a feeling we are going to roll over Portland tonight.

I think we can beat the Thunder in 6 games, in large part because the Jazz have better coaching. There have been a number of games in the past few weeks where the Jazz's defense has been so ruthless, the other team literally gives up by the third quarter. Games with Indiana, Minnesota, Clippers, Detroit and New Orleans come to mind.

OKC is offensively limited. It's mostly ISOs with a few kickouts and Steven Adams trying to clean up rebounds. If we can keep them out of early offense, I could see them settling for contested jumpers for most the series. Their defensive length has been a problem for us, but if they play Carmelo big minutes for his shooting, we can attack him.

We just need the Jazz to step out there and destroy the Thunder. In order for Spida to be a perennial all-star, he will need to depose Westbrook and take his guaranteed spot. The Jazz doing this with a Rookie and exactly one player the rest of the NBA might have heard about, puts Mitchell on the map. We get nationally televised games, Mitchell gets front covers, signature shoes, hell, we might even get calls.

Westbrook is kind of a Dick. The average person would gravitate to Mitchell over him anyway. If Mitchell outshines Westbrook on the playoffs stage, it only helps his image going forward.

I have the feeling that Mitchell will be more of a sports icon than both Malone AND Stockton. If he can do that in Utah, it solves a lot of issues for the team, as far as image goes. . .

Portland can finish no lower than 4, correct? So they get home court first round win or lose.

If that's the case, by tip-off they'll control their own destiny as to whom they're going to play in round one.

Depending on the seedings at game time they might not even show up.

We beat Portland tonight, we have home court vs the Thunder.

Once we beat the everliving **** out of the Thunder in the first two games it will become obvious to them that they stand zero chance. Westbrook, PG, and Anthony will start focusing on next season and where they want to go. You'll have a highly motivated, well functioning team with momentum vs. a team that's probably just going to want to get it over with and start their vacation.
