Trouble is that Exum hasn't looked confident running the point. He is playing solid D, but you might've noticed he made a bad turnover and Quin immediately took him out.
Donovan seemed to be trying to force things but they were doubling him and then Capella was helping as the third man. He should've played more as a decoy because of how much they were keying in on him. But as bad as he was, Rudy was just as bad. Capella dominated him. Rudy needs to develop some offensive skills besides dunking and get stronger. But even without those skills, there were lobs and rebounds that he should've gotten. He was a big disappointment to me this game.
I think Exum is confident. He is just a TO machine lately. But the good thing is that those turnovers come from driving and being agressive. We are already turning the ball over a ton. Id rather those be the turnovers rather than lazy cross court passes or top of the key dumb passes. At least with Exum starting we getting immediate defense on Harden and he should give us a few nice passes off his drives to the hoop.
Its not ideal right now, but its are only choice. Cant play Neto much. He sucks bad. Donovan is in a funk trying to play point against Houston. For some reason. I blame Kobe.
