Game 3 WCSF: Thank you, Kobe! — Rockets @ Jazz 5/4/2018 8:30 pm MST

I was on the road, what the hell happened?

Crowd was lit. Everyone goin' nuts. Jazz won the tip. Ingles walked down and threw up a three ... nothin' but net. Everyone lost their ****. Jazz went up 3-0. It was insane.

Then that was that. The Jazz sucked the rest of the game. Mitchell put in a historically bad (for him) night. Gobert was non-existent. The fans were taken out of the game midway through the first quarter and were never allowed back into it. Mike D'Antoni ate Quin Snyder's lunch and Clint Capela ****ing owned our supposed Defensive Player of the Year.

Game. Series. Season.

So, today is what happens when everyone is on for the Rockets and everyone is off for us. There have been games this year where we could afford to play this bad and win. Can't even entertain that idea with the top team record-wise.

It would be nice to grab one more game though. And probably a bad time to mention this, but a much improved team and it's become clear that we still need a perfect roster to compete with the Houstons of the world, who actually have a crazy good 1-8 at minimum.

Houston was up 25 and Harden was still flopping, pushing off and non stop complaining. He ended with 1 foul. In fact Harden, Paul, Tucker and Aziza ended up with a total of 3 fouls. That's pretty shocking.
Jazz sucked in every aspect of that game.

Don't want rubio playing before he is ready. Not worth it. Let's just hope we compete in game four and maybe ricky can come back for game 5. Long term health is more important, especially when i'm not sure what difference he can make, especially if he is not 100%. Rockets are clearly the better team and match up super well against us, but there is still a chance (like 25%) we can get another win and go six games. Taking the rockets to six would be a pretty encouraging note to end the season on. Give us a lot of momentum going in to next season. Especially if the front office can add some playmakers in the off season. We could shoot for 58 wins.

I have been thinking about that too. Unfortunately:
-that series didn't end well either
-that was on the road, wasn't it?

Fortunately:
-this isn't the 90's Bulls

Yeah game 4 I think to go 3-1 down, tho we came back to win the next one in chi also, I believe Karl and Antoine Carr killed it Hopefully we respond in game 4 in like

I think we need to start Exum. Gotta get Mitchell off the ball.
Trouble is that Exum hasn't looked confident running the point. He is playing solid D, but you might've noticed he made a bad turnover and Quin immediately took him out.

Donovan seemed to be trying to force things but they were doubling him and then Capela was helping as the third man. He should've played more as a decoy because of how much they were keying in on him. But as bad as he was, Rudy was just as bad. Capela dominated him. Rudy needs to develop some offensive skills besides dunking and get stronger. But even without those skills, there were lobs and rebounds that he should've gotten. He was a big disappointment to me this game.

Houston is just a really good team. I'm frustrated that we came out so flat and got our trash kicked. But Houston is a great team and is viewed as the favorites to win the title.
Regroup for game 4.
