That video of Allen and Mitchell going at each other is disturbing
Allen sorta plays dirty but Mitchell was getting in his cheap shots also
Jazz would certainly have to get a thumbs up from Mitchell to pick him

They don't. Mitchell isnt the GM.

Might as well get Tony Bradley's thoughts too, because of the whole Duke UNC thing.

I'd have Brown last on that list of 4 Tony Jones was asked about. I just don't see a definable NBA skill in his game. He's not a scorer, he's not a shooter, his defense was basically average, his playmaking ability for his size is nice but it didn't lead to production at the college level (3.2 ast/2.5 to), he's not a great athlete. What's his NBA role? At best you're probably hoping he develops as a playmaker and becomes an Evan Turner type. At worst he's out of the league in a few years because he doesn't develop a skill that keeps him in a rotation. Even if he does pan out and is something like Evan Turner, is that what the Jazz need? I think he's a total project at this point. I wouldn't take him at 21. To me he's a 2nd round pick.

He's really young and has an NBA body... good passer for a 3/4 combo. His shot isn't NBA ready, but it's not completely broken. If he turned into an average shooting Evan Turner that is a really good NBA player.

The Ringer updated their mock draft guide.

They have us taking Huerter... with KBD on the board... Okobo goes 19 to the Hawks. https://nbadraft.theringer.com/?_ga=2.199703725.2096164455.1528150172-1297364285.1505926307

After looking and thinking about it... I don't think Okobo gets past Atlanta or SA... I'd move up to get him, but not sure it's possible. I felt good about him being there and now am thinking he more than likely get selected ahead of us.

Nightmare scenario here: Brown, Frazier, Evans, and Okobo are all off the board by 21. Those are probably my 4 favorite fits for Utah.

It's a good sign tho that my nightmare scenario still lands us Huerter. Only way it could really get worse is if Sexton or Williams drops to 21 instead of Huerter. If that happens tho then I'd be looking at KBD or Grayson. Maybe Okogie.

So you're not an Okobo guy? KBD would be a good pick for us. Or a project like Okogie or Simons. I might go Simons.

Im thoroughly amused by Okobo's apparent rise. He entered last years draft too ya know. Theres gotta be some mocks i did in 2017 that have pretty much many of the players people want at 21 all in different spots that were higher than the conensus at the time. Chandler Hutchinson and DiVicenzo and Okobo were guy's id have near 60 before they were on any of the big site mocks. I used to put Huerter as the 30th pick in the 1st. had a good feeling bout all 4 from the initial eye test.

I remember coming across okobo looking for the top international pg on dx's 1998-born list and he was ranked like 35th or 37th overall but he had the rrame and could shoot off the dribble and flashes a well rounded skillset
