Watching Doncic highlights, I don’t see top of the draft talent, maybe highlights don’t do him justice, I don’t know?

Highlights are fine... he ain't putting guys on posters, but he's dropping guys on crossovers. Harden's tape wouldn't be that exciting either.

Just check his stats and resume... then consider he is 18 playing in a league that is better than college basketball with grown *** men that are professionals. He's a prodigy imo and anyone that passes on him is silly.

The Brown is close to him is pretty funny imo.

Ppl will look back at this draft and find it absurd that Mo wasnt held in higher regard. I feel many lack relevant context when speaking on mo, more or less they just kinda spitball and try to exxagerate percived warts to justify their flimsy attempts at marginalizing his talent.



Mo's cant miss! The top 7footers projected in many of the next few drafts arent talented like him. In just a year or two he's gonna be scary good.

Do NOT put me in that camp. There is a VERY good chance, IMO, that Mo is the best player from this draft.

Highlights do him plenty of justice... as long as you are not looking just for explosive athleticism... which he will never give you. Like others said above his highlights look more like Harden/Hayward highlights.

NBA teams are really over thinking this imo. I'm trying to tell my Kings fans friends that this is the guy... I'm not sure even the Kings could ruin Luka.

No doubt... I'm just not sure there has been an 18 year old that is more proven than Luka. Ayton really worries me. If someone wants Bamba I get that, but teams need creation and wings much more than centers right now. I think the talent scarcity and upside of Luka is too much to pass on.

I could make an argument for Brown being in the same tier talentwise as Knox and maybe SGA, but he's not a top 4 pick.

He's past SGA for sure.

You have a history, and I have to respect your takes, but I’ve at least seen the vision in the past. I was high on Kuz later in the process as well and liked Otto as well, but I just can’t see this one.

Shouldn't you have him pretty high on the board then? Like... you have him in the top 15 now if I'm not mistaken, but I mean like... more in the realm of top 5 if you think he's close to your no. 1 player in Doncic?

Top 15 is not that huge of a leap. Hell I have him top 15 and I still have plenty of reservations towards Brown.

Luka is a good prospect. He's just a tad overhyped. He isn't Harden. He isn't the greatest thing since sliced bread. He's not the best prospect in the class either.

I mean, when I'm doing a board I'm considering more factors than just what I think their ceiling outcomes would be. Brown could be a mediocre shooter his entire career and just be OK as a player. Brown just has some question marks.

And I'm not super high on Doncic being a generational player or anything of that nature. I think he's really good and the player with the least amount of questions in the draft. I think Bamba is the highest ceiling player.
