The Cousins news just confirms that DL`s strategy is correct. There is absolutely no point in going searching for that "missing piece" as there just are noe players on the market that will give us even a fighting chance against the Warriors. We have to keep collecting assets in form of good players on good, meaning tradeable, contracts so that we are in a position to strike if a deal is available for a good, young player or high draft pick.

More than anything, we need to avoid a Ryan Anderson-type deal that ****s us for years to come. This means no overpaying for Jabari and no deal for Kevin Love if it means giving up anything at all of value.
 
We ain't getting Jabari Parker. Milwaukee will match it immediately like they already said. He is not going anywhere for the time being.

I was talking about his actions and personality over his entire nba career thus far was punk *** bitch like. And now he gets a ring he doesn’t have to earn.
 
Its funny watching how the players screwed themselves by demanding the cap jump all the way up the first year after the TV deals.

A bunch of scrubs got money, and then everyone esle gets screwed. The NBA even warned them.

How can you be so dumb and not see this coming? Id be pist at the players association leaders after being lead down this road.
 
Man, I like Favors and would rather have him over Randle right now(maybe).

But I cant help feel like the Jazz missed an opportunity to get a good deal on a player who's stock is rising and could become pretty good.

Randle is only 23. He has shown a lot of potential recently. I could easily see him becoming allstar caliber.

9 mil a year is a steal imo

It is partly their fault and the fault of the league for not explaining it well enough that they got it... the concept seems on the surface like the players would get screwed and they are likely and correctly skeptical of things that come from the league... they got they *** handed to them in the negotiations under Stern.

But yeah... guys that got screwed should be calling Michelle Roberts and asking WTF?

Next year will be a mini boom market... I’m worried we miss out or have to pay too much since so many teams will have space.

Next offseason will be madness again. Ugh, it's like the presidential election cycle every 4-years is unbearable.

As to who's fault it is the league or the union....the league explained it but....
