The way he's running the floor, scoring off pick-and-rolls, catching the ball on the move, and finishing inside with 2nd and 3rd-effort plays looks encouraging to me. He's not going to be an elite rim protector. He's just not that vertical a player. He runs with a high motor, rebounds well and has a knack for impacting plays. I think he's a rotation player, which is what he was drafted to be. His role would be similar to Enes Kanter, though he's a better defender while not being as polished offensively.
He needs another year to develop, imo. He's a bit behind Deyonta Davis in the development curve.
