What's new

Nemanja Bjelica

I have a feeling Bjelica is going to end up on Philly. They lost 2 shooters in Belinelli and Ilyasova and they have quite a bit of cap space.

Even though Bjelica's stats are similar to Jerebko, he plays like Ingles. He fits because of it. Issues? He tends to suffer nagging injuries and he's another ex-wolf that needs rehab. He played like he hated life, like so many wolves before.

Philly will go after him, but Utah have shown to be the perfect franchise for players like him (Spurs too) See Ingles, Joe.
Plus the Rubio connection.

Don’t forget Rodney Hood, Zach LaVine and Kyle Anderson.

Plus Wiggins with a contract that nobody wants.

Looks like the only ones that really made out okay are Embiid, TJ Warren and Gary Harris. Seems like those are pretty decent and worthwhile deals.

Maybe Aaron Gordon, but you’d have to think that his less than max is a disappointment for both him and the Magic.

Pretty crazy how good that draft looked on paper. What a disappointment

any news about Bjelica, it's so quiet. Jonas has better play offs experience but that is nothing in our conf. Melo drove past him like teenager.
the question is who is better 3PT specialist as a shooting 4. in my opinion Bjelica wins.

Bjelica is that old ****... Niang is the troof...

Trade Burks to Sacramento and then sign Niang. If we can get him touted as a rich man’s Stauskus, then I think we have a chance.

I think the # and the fact that we didn't do this deal even though there was some mutual interest (supposedly)... leads me to believe they are letting Jonas go and signing Niang.

I mean they could probably have cut Jonas... given Bjelica another $1M or so and gotten a second non-guaranteed second year... I think Bjelica is better than Jonas, but I think at very least they are similar levels of player and to turnover that spot and get a second year NG would have value.

So Philly likely got him for around the same amount we're paying Jerebko.
