I think its actually a pretty good trade for Golden State. Ellis and Curry are not a good pair, but I think Curry and Igoudala would. I just don't see why Sixers would do it.

Ellis has been a 25ppg scorer for the last 2 years. Is 2 years younger and makes less money. I like Iggy but I think Ellis overall is the better player.
Could work out well for both teams. GS finally can make Curry their primary ball-handler and have some guys who can still both slash and shoot w/out needing the ball in their hands as much as Ellis.

Philadelphia gets rid of that glut of SF-type players and they can split SF minutes exclusively between Turner and Thaddeus Young (who can also play PF), and have a go-to scorer instead of that scoring by committee approach.

Not sure if those teams will be much better - but it atleast balances out and diversifies their perimeter lineups a bit.
