@Grayson's Hands for putting a fantastic team together. Like I said, I’ve got nothing bad to say about the team you assembled. Loved the move to get Malone, Payton and Wade. Thought Grant Hill was a damn steal where you got him and Dikembe Mutumbo is one of my favorite players of all time. Liked the Petrovic and Parish picks for your bench.
My strategy was to just put as much talent as I possibly could around MJ. Lucked into getting Dominique after my top SF targets (Paul George and James Worthy) both went off the board during a particularly ugly stretch of the draft for me. I want to thank

I originally drafted Giannis to play PF, but one of the problems with getting MJ in this thing is that it’s hard to put talent around him since you have to wait until 32/33 before you can get your next two starters and 64/65 before adding your final two starters. Plus, you just don’t have the firepower to make any decent trades.
Drafting a positional versatile player like the Greek Freak early allowed me to just go BPA and it became clear early on that I was not going to get the kind of PG that I wanted to round out my starting lineup with at 64. I almost had an opportunity to trade for a HOF point guard in a way similar to how I got Dominique Wilkins (due to buyer’s remorse), but I was reluctant to pull the trigger on that deal because of some team fit and personality issues. In the end, I decided to shift Giannis and draft Kemp (who was a steal where I got him) and just go huge and athletic for my starting unit.
Love my bench, except that I was sad to not get Nate Thurmond this time - I think I’ve drafted him every year I’ve done this until this year. Had to draft Kemp, Gervin and Frazier where I did, I couldn’t pull off a trade to move up for either Hondo or Nate the Great.
Again, you did a great job of putting together a fantastic team. I was pretty lucky with a lot of my picks and I’m glad that my team looked a lot like I was hoping it would at the end of it all. I’m looking forward to the Current Players Draft (and/or another All Time Draft without active players).
Great job running things. I think it went off pretty smoothly overall. You deserve a lot of credit for that.
