What's new

Jeremy Evans

I'm the dumb %$#@ that started the thread when I saw a thing in Jazznewz about Jeremy on the Junior Jazz caravan. He always struck me as a good dude and he and Haywood were thick as thieves and he and Kanter were friends. Maybe management is looking to put him in some front office position.

Get a passport, get paid and go live an awesome life. **** kicking rocks around in the G-league.
Do other leagues even want a guy that can't shoot? I like Jeremy but he always needed to get one skill that fit a position other than C. He just never had anything valuable to a competitive team.

Jimmer Fredette's team will be facing off against Jeremy Evan's team on Thursday in the semi finals of TBT. I've watched way more of this tourney than I should and I must say, it's been pretty entertaining. I'm definitely watching on Thursday.

You don't think the Jazz will have anyone on the injured reserve at any point? Have you followed the Jazz the last 12 years?
Didn't the injured reserve stuff go away years and years ago? These days it's a 15 man roster (+ the two-way contracts) and that's it.

Jimmer has been killing it. Dominating this tourney. (Offensively anyway lol)

Jeremy is one of the top 5 athletes the Jazz have had in the last 10 years. One of the kindest too (if it weren't for Mitchell, he'd be far and away the kindest.)

That being said, he never developed a jump shot and he couldn't gain weight.

I'd be so happy if he signed with the Stars. I'd actually go to a few games if that were the case.

He loved doing the Jr Jazz tours and the kids loved him. He's such an awesome person for coming back and doing the tour again. A college friend of mine is the brother of the guy who travels with the players on the tours. He and Jeremy became very close friends. I bet their friendship played a part in bringing Jeremy back.

I think he did... wasn’t he the one that Karl was saying showed up to a workout all covered in pads and armor. He basically called him a b****

Kanter, Favors, Gobert and Evans were all there.

It was never clear who wore the body armor, I always suspected it was Kanter or Gobert.

The Jazz put a PR happy face on it but the bigs did not like it. Look at the body language in this image. He was not invited back.

I watched him last night on the TBT Tournament as his team beat Jimmer's. They play for the $2 million payout tonight. I didn't recognize him at first with his dreads and facial hair. I never did convince my mom that it was really him.

Go Team Eberlein Drive!

I doubt it was Kanter, he visited Karl's family and went to fishing with him quite a few times. But he is also goofy enough to wear a body armour.

He also seemed to get to know Karl's daughter pretty well if I remember right.

No one was wearing ****ing "armour" they were wearing "Under Armour" brand clothing. Karl had dumb *** things to say about it, like he did regularly any time anyone asked him to talk about anything.
