My bad then. I assumed you were upset or bothered when you made up that I liked bashing on Stockton and being critical of him and made a post in the pet peeves section about Stockton haters/doubters. I assumed that something bothered people when they post about it being their pet peeve.
Looks like you didn't read his post. Here is the peak season for both players.

Cp3 at his peak was better than Stockton at his peak according to these stats.
I think technically it is backpedaling the backtrack.Backtracking the backtrack lol

This is where the hammer meets the nail.I think it’s more that you seem to enjoy being critical of Stockton. Not just in this thread/convo either. I have seen this take from you in the past as well. And both times you really really dug your heels in and went on and on about it. Seemed to really enjoy trashing Stockton both times. (Of course you always throw in a “I think Stockton is great” type of comment right after telling everyone how he wasn’t really that great so that if anyone calls you a hater you can be like no I’m not remember when I said he was great?)
If you didn’t like it then it seems like you would just make a critical post or two about Stockton and leave it that and let people disagree rather than page after page of debate.
Just a bad look really. But whatever, I’m out.
And thread after thread.Too sensitive of a subject for me lol. What is it that tells you that? I’m not the one going on and on page after page about this.
I would honestly take Stockton over Jerry West. West put up some gaudy stats but I would still choose Stock as my floor general.I am sure you think that. You probably usually do, I guess its just rarely a good one.
Lets talk about which players you would bump out to put in Stockton ahead of to be top 15.
Jordan
Lebron
Magic
Bird
Wilt
Kareem
Duncan
Shaq
Kobe
Hakeem
Bill Russell
Dr J
Jerry West
Elgin Baylor
Both Malones
Me personally, I think he fits in the group just after these guys. There are probably a couple more I am forgetting that should be up here as well.
Moses.I would honestly take Stockton over Jerry West. West put up some gaudy stats but I would still choose Stock as my floor general.
And why are you including Jeff Malone anyway?

Jeff Moses??Moses.
I guess If I had to pick a player to be on my team I would pick Stockton. They just came from different eras. But I would say West had a more successful better career and deserves a higher rank.I would honestly take Stockton over Jerry West. West put up some gaudy stats but I would still choose Stock as my floor general.

Yeah, he said years. I dont have a way to post those. But I still think its the same. CP3 has better stats at his peak. CP3 has the benefit of playing now days and its easier to put up big stats offensively. That is why I think Stockton is better and have stated that the entire time.Looks like you didn't read his post.
Yeah, that is a different argument.Oscar and Magic were great, but they were physically gifted athletes with a huge built in mismatch every time they stepped on the court, but in terms of pg play Stockton did it with as close to perfection as you can do it. Maybe Magic and Oscar were better all around players thanks to their size and athleticism, but pound for pound Stockton was the best ever to play in the nba period!!
