Yeah but coming off screens defenders will lock-and-trail him alot more in the NBA than he saw in college so he'll need to figure out a way to score when he gets into the lane - either with the floater or a Nashian scoop-layup.Jimmers game in the NBA should be spot up shooting and coming off screens.
He shouldn't be looking to go the basket.
Locke agrees - he will struggle finishing at the rim in the NBA - 1.24 minute mark.

If you disagree send him an email. LOL.
Yep, Florida had a very solid front line last year. I only watched a few minutes here and there of that game. Was Jimmer bothered by the faster guards Florida had (that he would be accustomed to playing against most nights). I assume he was mainly guarded by Boynton?

Biyombo's a few years younger than Jimmer, has elite size and athleticism to play C in the NBA (something Jimmer does not have at any position), plays defense infinitely better defense than Jimmer, and offense is the least of our concerns up front. Does Jimmer blow Biyombo away offensively? I suppose so but I'm not sold on that translating against elite athletes night in and night out. The flip side is Biyombo could become much better on offense given his age, athleticism and work ethic. Could Jimmer's defense get better? Perhaps but I wouldn't lay money on any sort of substantial growth.
Just my opinion.
