2018 Annual JazzFanz LEGENDARY Players NBA Draft

These last three picks were all solid. I thought for sure that one of Dr. J., David Robindon or Gary Payton would fall to me. Still happy to get a guy like Clyde “The Glide”, but it changed my strategy just a bit to miss out on some of these targets.

I was eyeing off Scottie Pippen but some prick picked him before i could my hands on him.

I feel ya, I hate insane shooting skills from around the world gathered together too.

I just think what made Bird great was his instinctual play with the ball, he was crafty, great player, knew how to put think, trick, and when to shoot, and pass, and Kobe, needing the ball and the volume shooter he is will take away from Birds greatness. I just think Bird would struggle to figure out how to play his natural game with Kobe there.

Drafting guys like Kobe, MJ, and Iverson, you have to be extra cognizant of who you put around these players, because of how ball dominant they are in looking for their shot.

I am not at home, don’t have a list and hate using my phone. The Dr J pick was just winging it because I didn’t want to hold up the draft. But at this point there isn’t anyone obvious to me so you have to wait.

I think Bird’ be a lot more dominant than Kobe. I would think of it like a rookie Kobe role with the experience and skillset of a prime Kobe. There is no way he is helping win against any team in this tournament if he will hog the ball and it doesn’t seem probable too. Bird was a lot more of a dominant character. He wouldn’t let anyone hide him.

But that’s Kobe’s game!! He is MJ like in personality as a competitor. He wants the ball and thinks, hell, knows in his own head he’s the best player on the court.
