8 seasons in the league and he still interviews like a rookie.
Haywood: Thank you, UtahHe wasn’t complaining when all that attention to detail, practice and improvement helped him become an all star. Or when it helped him land his big contract.
I think the words he is looking for is “thank you”.
Haywood doesn't want to do what it takes to be great. He'd rather play video games.
Man if he was really cheering for them to lose then i have no respect for the guy. Wonder what his new teammates think of him.
ThisI will be hate watching them all year.
This
I do like jaylen brown though.
Never really liked horford. I irrationally don’t like Tatum cause of Donovan and him being the same rookie year and I want our guy to be the best of his class. (Pretty confident he will be)
I’m meh about kyrie (though I liked the uncle drew movie a lot)
**** Stevens.
I really can't stand the whiny athlete thing. Even without a pay raise I definitely take a 3 hour practice over any job I have ever had. Do they really think 3 hours is a long amount of time? I still have 21 hours left in the day!
Smh
It's different because it is so physically demanding, but I'm with you.

The thing that kind of irks me is it is kind of a shot at Quin... like he doesn't know how to pace his guys. Long practices were part of the long term strategy and was a one year thing. I remember Locke talking about how they knew it was costing them a bit on the court because guys weren't as fresh, but they knew that year was a building year and the young guys needed reps and instruction.
The results... everyone got better and Hayward was one of the biggest beneficiaries.
I teach ESL to seniors so I can't talk, but I'm sure some of our members here have had jobs as physically demanding as professional sports are. At a fraction of the pay and with crappy benefits, probably.
Not even with you on the physically demanding thing. Having worked very physically demanding jobs 3 hours ain't **** ,especially in your 20's.
A 3 hour workout in an air conditioned building that is over 2 hours before lunch?
Srsly give me the average us salary, 2 weeks vacation, and benefits and I will happily be Quin Snyders bitch 3 hours a day 5 days a week. I still won't be able to dunk a basketball but I will brag about my kick *** job constantly.
I went and thought about it... I was wrong. I wake up at 5 AM to workout and play basketball 3x a week... then I go to work, then to help with the kids... the physical work is one of the favorites parts of my day... Gordon is a douche and I never should give the impression that I was defending him.
I bet he smells too
