Uhh, not wanting someone who sexual assaulted you to sit on the supreme court isn't a 'politically' motivated thing.

I'd chose Mike Lee over this guy, but heck I find this Ford story hard to believe for this very reason. My wife related a story once of someone who was very crude to her at a food court, very first thing I wanted to know, was who it - what's his name? If it was attempted rape I woudn't have slept till I new the name and I'd sought justice right then. Can anyone honestly believe she'd withhold the name to even her husband? Out of what concern? I work in IT in healthcare and were not allowed to not make a hotline call when something like this is reported.

No that's not true. She told her husband who it was years ago.

And drumming up weirdo clinton conspiracies as some form of backlash against him doesn’t help things. Then he claims, “what goes around comes around.” Has he given up on this SC job and is trying out his second career in a republican congress? He’s not exactly giving off the whole, “I’m an impartial to politics” judge vibe you’d think he’d want to give.

Did he receive advice from Bill Cosby’s PR team?

Very weird testimony. You are absolutely right, this doesn't at all sound like someone who is trying to prove their fit as a supposedly impartial arbiter of justice. It sounds like someone auditioning for a Fox News show.

He’s going broke with “I’m mad as hell and I’m not gonna take it anymore” strategy.

After starting off by angrily attacking the Clintons, he’s settled into tears and anger while describing sports and calendars. As if parties and rape, if not written into the calendar, makes it so it didn’t happen.

It’s weird. I don’t know what I was expecting but this is just weird. I’m sure the trump lemmings will cream themselves over it. Probably blame clinton for something.
 
Kavanaugh refusing to answer as to why he didn't want the FBI investigate is a bad look for him right now. All he's got is "I WANTED TO BE HERE THE NEXT DAY!!!"

Um,, ... doesn't sound like an innocent man to me to be honest.

Think Kavanaugh likes to drink beer? Must’ve been a record for the amount of times he talked about liking beer.

Also, I thought he seemed flustered when talking about drinking too much and blacking out. He described how he would fall asleep but wouldn’t black out.

Does that... ummm help things?

And why did he make his buddy Mark Judge sound like just “some guy he knew?” Why downolay his relationship to him?

It's up to the committee or the President to invoke the FBI, rather than Kavanaugh. The FBI also can't draw conclusions, but rather just take statements, like those already being submitted.
 
Also is shouting normal at these proceedings? What does that achieve apart from coming off as childish and not being in control of your emotion? Just doesn't feel all that mature to me to be shouting at the questions.
 
If he truly thinks this is a hit job by the Clintons, why doesn’t he demand an FBI investigation to finally “lock her up” for “ruining his life?”

Lindsay Graham doesn't have a set core personality. He just takes on the flavor and tone of whoever he considers to be the most powerful man in the room. McCain is dead, so he's a Trump toady now.

He's not a real human being. He's a golem composed of mint juleps and seersucker.

Yeah but at least the FBI could be an impartial third party that could verify certain facts for the committee couldn't they? I don't understand what he's afraid of. It just makes him look bad IMO.

He's angry and defiant, and his advisors must have told him that it's okay to be angry and defiant.

If your response to finding out your wife was sexually assaulted 25+ years prior, and kept it inside all that time, is to hound her for more details and never to let up, not even to sleep, until she told you want you wanted to know, then you're an *******.
