Let's say that the Cavs do take Irving @ #1. Minnesota, who really is in dire need of a center to place next to Kevin Love, decides to draft Kanter @ #2. This would leave the Jazz with a choice between Williams and Knight. I would guess that we take Williams @ #3. Now, here comes the twist: If the Jazz really want Jimmer or Kemba Walker (assuming that Knight is off the board by #12) and they don't think that either of them will be available @ #12, they then trade the #12 pick and next year's Golden State pick to move up to get one of them. I know people will not want to trade next year's pick, but there is some downside to it. The pick is top 8 protected, which would not be the best scenario. Also, what if Golden State makes the playoffs next year? The pick would be utterly useless then. Might as well trade it for value now.
