Words are potent weapons for all causes, good or bad.

It is only a step from boredom to disillusionment, which leads naturally to self-pity, which in turn ends in chaos.

Moderation is the secret of survival.

I'm interested in his books, but I don't want to read them. Can you give us a summary of each?

Damn. You exceeded my expectations.

Funny cause just looking at his picture my first guess was that he was an author and my second guess was actor.

If they dont move wayward to the back of the rotation some players are bound to get upset. Maturity is going to be tested. I'm interested to see how long they keep him, to move that contract they'll have to include a first +

What does stevens do? Draw a hard line and get fired or sell out his baby? Or does Hayward return to form next season? Paul George came back an allstar but suffered his injury at a younger age. gtime had it so good here but wanted more - and that was probably the peak of his life. I'm not as ruthless as most of yall and hope he doesnt fall into depression. He went from allstar to negative asset and could drag a top contender down along the way.

hayward got paid, he is set for life. he sucks now though.

One guy says Gtime lacks heart and allows himself to get bullied by the jazz. Another says he's needs to grow a pair.

Regardless of what anybody thinks of Haywards game or what we thought of him while he was here "starring" for the jazz- before hating him- the fact is and has always been, he is a huge *****.

Why are players going to get upset? Most of the guys are sucking *** on Boston, it's not just Hayward. If they mad at anyone, it's Brown.

Stevens is going to stick with Hayward. Boston isnt in any danger of missing the playoffs.

If Hayward continues to suck and start, you have to wonder when Stevens loses the locker room, though. Nothing will work after that.

I would also enjoy every bit of that.

What about Jaylen Brown, who is playing worse (and doesnt make plays for others like Hayward does) and doesnt have any valid excuse?

You mean the guy that has battled with them for two seasons, has ever played well for them, has a much stronger case for an untapped ceiling, is paid relatively nothing, and isn't the pet of the coach?

Objective fact: everything started going sideways when Hayward started playing, whether that's fair or not. You're kidding yourself if you don't think the players, media, and fans haven't made that connection. Also bear in mind that Hayward went ON THE RECORD to say he was upset that they played well without him.

Correlation isnt causation. Hayward is trending upward much more than Brown is and has more potential as a piece they need.

It's pretty clear what Boston is: a great defensive team with two really good scoring options (Irving and Tatum). Hayward fits well in that. They need him in that non-primary creation role. He has started to play well in that role. Brown is just taking bad shots, shooting poorly on open shots, and not looking to pass. I mean, you are one of the leaders of being Anti-Rubio here and Jaylen Brown is playing worse than Ricky Rubio.

They're in the East. They can afford to be patient. They can sleepwalk to the 4th seed and hope they gel right in time for the playoffs.

The Celtics-Jazz comparisons are legion this year. It's probably the case that we shouldn't be too panicked right now, but that's definitely true for Celtics fans. It's just a long regular season.

I am aware of all of that. You didn't address any of my points but that's fine.

I just don't see Stevens losing the lockerroom when he seems to be well liked and respected, at least not over Hayward. Vets like Horford and Kyrie are going to be more upset with Brown pressing and letting expectations get to him than they are Hayward working his way back.

If he was out there chuckin' and trying to be that man, that'd be one thing. But he is playing like he is trying to fill a role. Everyone knows what he went through last year, his teammates are going to be patient with him.
