Ahh you are Cy's "disciple"! ahah
You make teamwork.
Your pet Rubio is slowly losing his starter status.
Time to start Exum.
Is this the hill you really want to die on? The start Exum hill??

So there is only one games evidence of Rubio’s inability to shoot? Of course I won’t suggest you delete your account.
According to Locke and Boone it was the food or water that got Korver going.
I think the real question is: was it his shots that were short, or were his shorts just shot?
Rubio is a carrer 38 % shooter, he is a crap shooter. He is also a rubbish defender.
But Of course this is not a problem to Quin and Exum haters.

Maybe we can draft a PG in the lottery? It’s where we are headed.
You are confused, genius.Ingles, genius
Exum's a career 39% shooter and 29% from 3 and he can't run the offense. I don't think Rubio is the long term answer at point guard but acting like Exum would be an upgrade over him if he was just given more minutes is ridiculous.
Yeah, but you can't say we could spend Exum's money somewhere else AND appreciate Favors. You can't have it both ways.
Once we paid Favors, keeping Exum had no bearing on adding anyone else. We had the MLE we didn't use but once again, nothing to do with Exum.
If you want to rant on someone taking cap space, rant on Favors or Thabo. Their contracts limited us to Exum

Exum is a lot more younger, athletic and a better defender than Rubio. He has not really been given a chance by quin.
The only way to find out if Dante would be better than rubio or not is to give him meaningful minutes and take on more responsibility, by playing him as a starting pg.
for 30, 40 games.
Let him make mistakes and learn on the court. But the jazz coach would never allow Dante to play with freedom
(which rubio and mitchell have ) because he is a dumb-arse.
I agree. Exum needs to be a bench SG. Still think he could have a big role down the road.Exum doesn’t have the ball handling skills or court vision to play point guard. We don’t need to start and play 30+ mins to learn this. I understand that Russell Westbrook has made some of you think that all it takes to be PG is to be more athletic than everyone else. But that’s just not the case for being a successful PG in this league. He’s the exception, not the rule. The PG position is still overwhelmingly dominated by the best ball handler and one who can manage the offense with superior court vision.
Exum doesn’t have those attributes nor is he an athletic monster like, Westbrook.
