Most cops I've known are pretty decent. Most former military personnel are just as good, in my book. We did a lot of wrong in Viet Nam, not that I was there to see. Mostly the bad is the stories some returned soldiers told. I don't thinkwe did as much bad as the people who fought us, to "their own people".
Communists generally believe their cause justifies whatever it takes to win. Many people who believe in US Constitutional principles just wouldn't buy that.... that's why we let soldiers who tell stories about wrongs we did live to repeat them and make movies about them. Commies would never allow that.
All of my statements in my earlier post except the quoted words are mine. What I have been told about him, by mutual acquaintances, is pretty non-specific. I believe he spent some time in a communist country and did basic reporting on specified "targets" while never pretending to be anyone but an ordinary citizen. He doesn't talk about that. His response to my query was amazing to me because he clearly stated that it's a dangerous job where everything can go wrong at any time. And he was not angry about Hillary and her server. I could not tell anyone where he ever was exactly, because I don't know. All I know is that some people said he worked for us in that capacity. He has never confirmed it.
What is most interesting to me is his ability to analyze a situation and see it as I would not. That's why I ask him about some things.
Of interest to me is the report that Chairman Xi, who has moved into Chairman Mao's former residence, has been dealing with opposition from the ideological Marxist and Maoist commies in China on one side, while also stirring up malaise from the entrepreneur "business" side of the Chinese establishment.... both arising just as he made a strong move to seize total power in China..... a move, it seems, he is not really strong enough to take.
Good news for Trump. Maybe it means we will get the respect we need for our proprietary rights while doing business with China after all.
But no, I don't think Russia's arrest of an alleged US spy is anything that wouldn't have happened even with Obama or Hillary or Bush, and I think Trump is actually a better negotiator for getting him back.
And
@Red, really….. Mueller is a solid globalist and for sale to the highest bidder. The dems didn't like him when he popped up just before the election and essentially laid Hillary on the tracks and had the rope to cinch her down, right in front of the election train. Nobody knows why he did that. His actions were out of line with his job, he seized the jurisdiction which the DOJ had in the Clinton matter, and presumed he was the one who had the power.
We should not be stupid enough to believe Mueller, or CNN. He's a playah.
Mueller was the man responsible for letting the Boston bombers run loose, even after Russia had informed us of their terrorist connections.
