Listen, I’m starting at two 1sts, Favors, and Rubio for Beal, IM, and cheapass filler and not looking back.

If they say no, I do three 1sts.

How valuable are they anyway? Grayson? Collins3.0?

Trade em.

We’d have Beal for two more years and with that core in place could legit attract the guys we’d need to fill in the roster on the cheap. I’m just not sure the Wiz do it.

For us to get Beal, they gotta like Exum or really like Grayson. Rubio and Favors just aren't enough player power for the trade.

**** first rounders. Overrated pieces of ****. I hyperbolize, but you get the point. When you reach the upper eschelons, the first rounders become irrelevant.

Go after another stretch 4 or a 4/5 combo as well as Redick in the offseason and call it a day.

Just make sure these ****ers know PT is limited and it’s about winning.

They suck up front. For all we know, they may really value Favors. That, 3 firsts, and dumping IM may be enough though I doubt it.

In that case, do four. **** it.

I don’t think they would... normally all star trades require one top tier asset... Kyrie had the Brooklyn pick as an example. If we had a really good unprotected first to go with some of the other stuff maybe we could temp them. The Lakers with Ingram or Porty with CJ would be better offers than our three firsts.

That FO is not the rebuild types... they are generally totally happy with mediocrity and being a “dangerous” playoff team. I think a rebuild would maybe get him canned.

Beal would have to demand a trade or they’d have to be for sure out of the playoffs... even then they have plenty of time.

I think they might be more interested in trading their first and Ian for Favs... we wouldn’t be interested unless the protections were light or none... even then I don’t get the impression that type of deal is under consideration with where we are as a franchise.

Can’t do 4... can only trade a certain amount of time in the future... could do pick swaps... I don’t think we need to mortgage all those picks at this point... too excessive and risky. They also may not trade a dollar for 10 dimes.

Their fans may not... those that make trade decisions for the franchise do want to win more.

You definitely have the fillers around the big piece that would be required to get Beal. So nah you're missing like 70% of the value the Wiz would need back. Non starter.

The most annoying part is when Beal gets traded (or not traded at all), these ridiculous trade proposals are used to criticize DL for "not being proactive". Like duh the Jazz FO would do that deal in a second but it's not even close to being on the table.
