What's new

2011 draft.....

I think Knight is a good fit with the Jazz. People blast is PG skills, but I don't think the Jazz need a protypical PG. Hayward proved down the stretch last season that he is a legit playmaker for himself and others. Not to mention that our offensive system creates shots through ball movement, not a Chris Paul drive and dish style. What the Jazz need from that position is someone who can bring the ball up the court against pressure and make jumpers. I think Knight can do that and will maybe develop into something a little more.

You're definitely onto something in my opinion. I just would prefer Kemba over Knight because he's a lot more ready to fill it up then night. I also think his playmaking ability for others is very underrated. I really do like the idea of Gordon handling the ball plenty.

I think a lot depends on what type of offense we are going to use, if we keep on with the same offense we've been running for the last 20 years then Knight is a good fit. If Corbin changes his offense, then who knows...it all depends on what type of offense we run. This is all rampant speculation of course, I know nothing.

Don't look now but you just described Fredette.

Agreed, I think Knight or Jimmer would be great fits. Knight is more well rounded on both ends and has more upside, so I would much rather have him of course. I even think Walker is a good fit. His 3 point game leaves much to be desired, but he has a great mid-range game and is lightning quick and possess great leadership (which the Jazz desperately need).

This. Take whichever one is there at 12.
Or just be happy with Harris.

Houston is trying to move up into the #10 spot. I'm guessing they are going after Jimmer/Walker or possibly Biyombo.

Who's this GM and what the HELL is he smoking?

If I was the Jazz I would tell everyone we will pass on Dwill2 if he is available. That makes Cleveland more likely to do something dumb with their 1st pick. Jazz should leak that they would take Kanter with their 3rd pick our Knight if Kanter is off the board. Those are our choices even if Williams or Irving are available. Much more likely to make Cleveland be dumb.
