I disagree. It is the FO's complete resistance to include Ex in some of these really. We could absolutely have put together similar deals. Yeah we can't see behind the scenes, maybe we tried. But I don't believe we did. Our FO is conservative to a fault, and apparently content with mediocrity.

I think the thing that’s most dejecting to me is that the buyers are sending so many assets and the Jazz just don’t have a ton of assets.

I’m not complaining about that. The Jazz just really have to hit on their moves and that’s why we’re reluctant to be throwing picks around, or why I get so upset about selling a 2nd rounder for chump change (okay, I’m complaining about that, and drafting a guy with virtually no chance to play at the moment).
