I disagree. It is the FO's complete resistance to include Ex in some of these really. We could absolutely have put together similar deals. Yeah we can't see behind the scenes, maybe we tried. But I don't believe we did. Our FO is conservative to a fault, and apparently content with mediocrity.

I mean, do you have any examples besides including Exum for Conley that we could have beaten? Like for Mirotic? I mean keep in mind, some teams might not want Exum's contract either.

Doubtful. If Dragic is legit smoke, the Jazz are pressuring Memphis and I doubt Rubio would be involved with Dragic still out.
