PoS fan who harassed Westbrook

Fans were bad to rodman? Westbrook? Who's next, boogie? Draymond? I'm seeing a trend here.
Maybe fans are bad to players who act like jerks constantly? Wierd.

Yep.

Honestly, they just finished the discussion on FT, and I'm extremely disappointed. All they seemed to do was make excuses for RW.

I don't care what the fan said, you shouldn't get away with a profanity laced tirade where he threatened two fans numerous times. Then said he would do it again in the post game interview. So he said he would threaten a woman. Again and again.

I bet all the non-racist Trump supporters here think whites make better quarterbacks because they're smarter.
I’m beginning to think you’re serious.

And, for the record, I am not a Trump supporter and never was.. didn’t vote for him (decided to just not vote last election).

So how bout that Mitchell!!?

Jalen just said the fan's actions were premeditated because of his Twitter.

This ****ing world I swear.

Probably true imo. His Twitter shows that he clearly hated Westbrook before last night

The I don't see anyone wrong with pre meditating some insults at player before going to a game as long as the insults don't cross the line. If you hate a particular player and want tickets to that game so you can tell that player "you suck" then who cares. That's part of the game.
If I went to a rockets game I would go with premeditated intentions of calling harden a flopper or cheater or something. I'm sure NFL fans go to games against Brady and billicheck with premeditated insults at the ready

“Westbrook needs to go back where he came from”.

So, California... ?

What an ****ing douche. Definitely racial tones on that one.
Plus, he has #MAGA as part of the tweet. Why would you write the hashtag unless you were writing something racist. Like imagine that same tweet to a player of Mexican descendants. Would it sound racist then?

I was super disappointed to vote for trump... I have three daughters and **** he said made me sick... I was just sad for where the country had gone... I’d have voted for Biden, Bernie, Obama... The Clinton family scared me.

I likely won’t vote this time around if there aren’t good candidates I feel I can vote for without feeling gross. Trump has done good with the economy which is why I voted for him but he’s not a good person and all the extra stuff is just too much.
I didn't vote at all, but I'm glad Clinton didn't win. I can't disclose what I know, but she is more crooked than Trump.

Trump has said a bunch of dumb things and done a bunch of good things. If you support him across the board or hate him across the board, you are equally wrong in my book.

Thanks.

Though in my case I had a predatory lender breaking fiduciary duty in an attempt at a hostile takeover of assets.
I filed for bankruptcy as a protective measure while I brought to light what the bad guys were trying to do and was successful.

I have never ever used bankruptcy as a means to not pay a debt to an investor or otherwise, but only to stay a stupid lawsuit (that I won as well) and the one with the one breaking lender liability laws.

Oh yeah... that’s justified. I have a father in law in NorCal that is a developer and started my career in tax stuff as the crash happened. All the developers out here absolutely ate it. Most went under... some survived. Most investors understood... there are a couple investors my father in law has lawsuits with... people act like the taxpayers held the bag for the developers... maybe indirectly through bank bailouts, but average joe defaulting on his mortgage was a much bigger problem.

Then why do you care? I am explicitly talking about those who continue to defend and support him today.

Glad to see all discussion has been about trying to let the racist ******* off the hook instead of talking about ways we can fix the terrible reputation of our fan base. Nice job guys.
That's all you have seen? Interesting.
I have seen a lot of discussion about a lot of things brought on by this incident. More thought provoking that just kill the racist imo.

I think it's obvious from the dudes tweets that this was not the case.

I think this guy is a racist based on his tweets... I’m not sure what he said... the phrasing is awkward which is why I initially doubted it... but I’ve heard people say dumb things that I’m not sure what they mean.

His ah shucks interview after is not genuine... neither was Westbrook’s... he mentioned how humble he is... okay Brodie.

......

Dude you are not helping here. This is not about Westbrook, there is a real issue here that needs to be talked about.

You deflecting away from the fan and turning this into Westbrook bash session is honestly so disappointing.
Westbrook is the entertainment. He is paid to play the game. He can't threaten somebody. Even if the fan said racist stuff, RW still can't threaten him.

Jazz security is more at fault than the fan. They have to contain the fans and the players must contain themselves.

This fan is a nobody. If he said bad stuff, get rid of him. No problem. Jazz security has to toss him. Players cannot threaten people.

Not sure I actually care, but I personally know supporters that aren’t racist and think this all-or-nothing mantra is kinda dumb. I know several black people that are big time supporters and, like Jerry Maguire, they love black people.

I don’t care what’s on his twitter account. It’s totally beside the point. This is just a way for the powerful to go after a common person and protect the privileged. ESPN shouldn’t touch his twitter account, regardless of what’s on it. They are a major news Corporation with real power that can destroy someone’s life over whatever they deem appropriate. Anyone else think that’s just scary? What happens when they set rules that no one can follow?

Not much different than CNN going after a common guy making a meme with trump in WWE. The powerful going after, threatening, and exposing a regular guy shouldn’t be something we support.

Westbrook has a history of this. It doesn’t take much of anything to set him off. And this time, he threatened actual harm to a woman, which should bring calls to completely end his career if we’re being consistent. Which, we aren’t, and it’s not surprising. What is surprising this day and age is people overlooking the powerful abusing their privilege (millionaire players, media etc) and backing them when they attack common people. That’s whats scary to me.

You don't know that. Based off the tweet, he is racist. But does that mean he yells racist stuff at Favors? Or Donovan?

Is there a better chance that he said something racist because his Twitter? Yes. That doesn't mean he did say something.

See why most players have this stigma about playing here or against Utah ? This just reinforces the stereotype

I’ve seen more racist stuff in 10 years living in NorCal than 20 years growing up in Utah.

This stuff is bad... but I hope it is the vocal minority and that other good people step up to squish it.

This is friggin terrible... ban the fan just in case... put mics in the stand... but if people around you at the game are acting a fool go ahead and call them on it and make them feel stupid.

At summer league these two duke haters are just screaming at Allen all game... just said to them are you guys really heckling a 20 year old kid in summer league loud enough that people could hear... they felt dumb and got real quiet. Let’s be better and handle **** internally.

What an absolutely amazing post. Well done.

Russell Westbrook threatened a female fan. Multiple times. And people are defending him.
