Hate to say it but Kanter = bust.
Is that good or bad? I've seen some downright awesome busts in my day.

there may be annoying posts everywhere, by anyone, but u guys should be more encouraging to specific fans, becuz one day they can be a utah fan. Im sure there will be many people in turkey supporting Utah just cuz of enes. I became a utah fan cuz of Memo. He had this allstar year when i first intensely started watching nba, and now im an intense utah fan. I hurted my hand lots of times hitting to the tables while watching the utah game. (mainly due to boozers ****ed up defense)

I just found out Kanter has a 1" vertical forehead and a 12.5" brow-span. Okur can train him in the art of the Unibrow but never had those tools.
Just great. As if I already didn't have enough problems, you go and throw my name in with your use of bold type. I'm Jazzfanz damned for life.

A little while ago you posted that a Kentucky player said that he was comparing playing against Kanter and Cousins, he said that Kanter was better and it's "not even close." Do you remember that and if so, can you please post a link to the story?
I'm guessing Harrelson said that because Cousins probably made fun of his jorts.
OT (don't know where to post this and it certainly doesn't need its own thread): Brandon Knight has selected the jersey number '7' to be a reminder that 7 teams skipped over him.
Knight was already projected to be around 8-10 before barnes and others declared out. Just because we have a need in pg, he found himself as high as 3 in mock drafts. Normally he should have gone 5-6 but not more. All those mock draft campaigns lifted him so high and now he is shocked after finding himself at 8 and Detroit ruins.
I like that he seems like a ambitious player, but before the draft, in his interviews he didnt give me a feeling that he really would like to play in Utah (which he cant find a better team to play for at top 10). If you are so picky being a rookie, then Karma punishes you for sure.
Well, the difference between 3 and 8 is a good chunk of change. I like Brandon; he seemed like a real intelligent player who could have brought a lot to the Jazz. And Utah does have a need to evetually replace Harris. But there's no question the Jazz made the right choice. This was not a Bowie over Jordan draft. Knight is probably going to be a very good PG, but perhaps not top-10 at his position. There are just too many other young studs in the league. Kanter COULD be a franchise changer. I say COULD because there's a lot of risk. But he has the signs: unlike some other 5's in recent drafts, he has a great attitude and tremendous work ethic. Just the fact he stayed around at KY to help out in any way he could instead of slinking back home angry and depressed. Just like Blake Griffin, he worked hard on his body and conditioning since he was unable to play in any games.
Having Memo as a mentor is HUGE. Not only a chance to learn from a legend in Turkey, but a chance to really develop roots in Salt Lake. Who knows, maybe the Okurs can introduce him to a future Mrs. Kanter (if he already doesn't have a girlfriend). I think Enes will have a solid rookie season, probably better stats than Favors had his first year. I see Kanter playing 15 mins. initially and then perhaps increasing a bit towards the end of the season. I hope Corbin goes with a strict rotation of Jefferson/Kanter at the 5 and Favors/Millsap at the 4, with Millsap pciking up some mins at the 3 if needed. Let's get Kanter and Favors comfortable at their natural postions.
You call that crazy? I didn't see any coeds ripping of their tops. I didn't see a single flaming police car overturned. There was no need for tear gas canisters. That was just a polite little gathering.there may be annoying posts everywhere, by anyone, but u guys should be more encouraging to specific fans, becuz one day they can be a utah fan. I have to agree. I think Kanter will prove more effective at the 4 and Favors at the 5. Defense will dictate.
