Looking more and more like Portland vs Utah at 4-5 as the last few games are played out.

Great matchup for the Jazz.
 
Yeah and playing like we did last night against a bottom feeder missing key people won't cut it. Hell if they had had booker the whole night we might have lost that one. Gotta step it up.

If the Blazers (2nd) win out they finish 54-28 but at the expense of the Nuggets, giving them 2 L's.
Houston (3rd) would finish 54-28, but Portland holds the tiebreaker.
Denver (4th) after the 2 L's would be 52-28 with 2 games left, @ Utah and vs Minny, so we beat them and they finish 53-29 (if we don't, Houston, Denver and Portland would tie at 54 wins and...I don't know, we better beat them).
Utah 5th if we don't mess it up too much. 52-30 winning out.

Denver-Utah

If Blazers and Nuggets split their games, Houston gets 3rd.

I think we are safe from the Rockets if nothing crazy happens. Go Nuggets just in case.

How so?

His defense is overrated on this board. He’s average. Maybe slightly above and certainly no difference maker in that respect. And he’s been awful offensively. 50th in TS% among qualifying point guards—80 people qualified. 36th in the league in PER among that same group of point guards. 31% from three. This has killed us.

We can argue all we want til we’re blue in the face about which guy hurts us more. Him or Favors. But Favors has been awesome this season. Tremendously efficient on offense. Great rebounding numbers. And high end defense as usual.

I'm also on the Move On From Rubio train, but saying he's been MIA is just more of your typical over-statement ********.

I saw your grades in the other thread. You just seem very fair in many ways and a little more generous in others. At least than I’d be. In Rubio’s case, much more. For me, he’s been a professional long enough and experienced enough failures and success (January on last year, the playoffs) to come back and have the best season in his career. He didn’t remotely do that imo. Awful shooting numbers. Wildly inconsistent. 11 games missed. That’s mediocre at best and C-/maybe D territory.
