Looking for small gift. Thus far, thinking about an Obama or Kanye prayer candle. What other small suggestions from Amazon?

Getting my dad a new cell phone. Lots of great mid-range cell phones out the right now for pretty cheap. Even older top-end phones for cheaper. Found a Galaxy S8+ for about 350.

Bought my daughters step dad a belt buckle with his initial on it per her request. He’s country so it works.

I usually give my dad a few bucks because he's made terrible life decisions and is broke, even though he has around $5000 per month in retirement. We also take him out to dinner. It is the least we can do, literally. He isn't our favorite person.

This year, however, he has leukemia for the third time, his 7th wife left him and he just moved into another apartment, and we've just discovered that he no longer has a recliner or a decent couch. He used to have a nice recliner, but he doesn't know what happened to it - his mind is going, apparently. I suspect he gave it away because he likes to pretend that he's rich and generous (except to his kids). So he's been sitting on a folding chair in his front room. Even our hardened hearts feel sad, so we're buying him a nice recliner with heat and massage. And we are threatening his life if he gives it away.

It’s a trap!! A day turns into a tight little thing cooking a cat in a stock pot in your kitchen.

RUN WES RUN! Jesus God! Someone pray! RUN. Anyone good with a sniper rifle? We need to protect our boy!

But that’s just it. A 70 crazy doesn’t cut off at midnight. It hunts you, and your family, down.

Does my 2018 teach no one anything?
You have to be quicker on the draw. The problem is exit strategy.
