Holly **** this douche is losing it. I am so glad we sent him packing. Also to try and threaten the owners with "we my play overseas longterm" is an absolute joke. Those guys are dying for a shot to play in the NBA and these overpaid crybabies just dont stop bitching. I seriously doubt Deron will be play for 5 mil longetrm. I have said before that I dont care how much money anyone makes, but I am starting to side with the owners. These players need a wake up call. And Deron just needs someone to slap the living **** out of him.

/Williams_Believes_Players_Could_Remain_In_Europe_Long_Term

Deron Williams has a one-year, $5 million deal with Besiktas in Turkey and he believes some of his fellow NBA players could play in Europe in the long-term.

"If the proposal (the owners) have, if that's what they're sticking with and that's what they want, then I think it would be hard for a lot of guys to come back to the NBA," Williams said Friday in an interview at a private golf resort in San Diego.

"(Kobe) could go make more money overseas, I guarantee you." said Williams. "If (European teams) knew he could be there for a full season, or they knew I could be there for a full season, or they knew LeBron James could be there for a full season, they'll pay more money, of course."

Williams said he spoke with the union before agreeing to play in Turkey to make sure he wasn't damaging its cause. He said NBPA executive director Billy Hunter was in favor of the move.

"I talked to Mr. Hunter and he said he supported it," Williams said. "He was happy for me. He thought I made a great decision, a business decision. He was behind me."

So your mad because he thinks he can more money in Europe if the Owner's don't budge on their initial proposal? Is he suppose to be a slave to the NBA? Freedom of choice buddy. He can do what he wants.

For the record, I think a team with DWill, Dwade, and Bosh would have beat Dallas...

so take that FWIW

I dont care what he does. But he sounds like a douche. What i am annoyed with is that he really believes himself in the caliber of Lebron and Kobe. Pathetic. Are you also so full of asinine thoughts that you believe this ******** he is spewing? Dont be a retard.

Also the bolded statement is stupid as ****. Did he declare for the NBA? Yep. He can play overseas and try to make a statement to the slavemasters, as you have indicated they are, but he will be running back fast as soon as an agreement is reached.

The Heat team as constructed could also beat Dallas.

DWill, LeBron, Bosh could also beat Dallas.

If anything, Deron's giant ego aside, moves like this are a great idea. It will help reduce the length of the lockout and move us closer to NBA basketball being played this season. Go for it Deron, and feel free to sacrifice your body for the game you love ;)

This all makes me believe the Jazz did the right thing in trading D-Will. I don't think he would've resigned, his ego has gotten too big for his own good.

This is silly. I really hate the 360 a lot of fans have made on Dwill. If he was still on the team everybody would be slobbering all over Dwills "confidence".

That's cute. I along with many others (Archie for one) grew tired of his antics long ago. I'm thrilled he's gone, especially given what we've gotten in return, and can no longer stomach his ego.

Speak for yourself twit. I started souring on deron the moment he felt he needed to destroy haywards confidence. Whats silly is that you are still oblivious to derons antics. Btw, i think you meant 180.

Deron is great. If he came back to Utah everyone here would love him again. People started to hate him because he had a poor year due to his wrist and the acquisition of Big Al (no one to run P&R with). All I hear is a bunch of sour grapes.

I, for one, was never high on his;

- Leadership qualities
- First step
- Me

Having said that, I'd welcomehim with open arms and open wallet.

Yeah, he isn't the best leader in the world, but what did he have to work with? Two big men who were allergic to defense, and a handful of extremely flawed wing players. I thought for the most part he did a pretty good job. He had one off year (both mentally and in his game) and now everyone is calling him a selfish prick who only cares about himself.

Good post, seriously. Except I think he has an innate leadership flaw.

and a coach who was allergic to enforcing defense, although he was willing to preach it . . .

(Contrast that to Rick Carlisle, who was available recently for the Jazz to sign if they had dropped Sloan sooner instead of blindly standing by him, and who actually got "Allas" to bring back the "D". And now RC (and MC (Mark Cuban), too) has a ring for it.

Another contrast: Tom Thibodeau, who was also available and put the "D" back in "(D)a Bulls", resulting in home court advantage in the playoffs while Tyrone Corbin--no "D" there--was fishing.)
