Frank Mason III

was waived by the Kings yesterday. Was national collegiate player of the year and was a high 2nd round draft pick in 2017. He averaged 7.9 ppg his rookie season. Is he better than the points we have in summer league or is he done?

Terrible shooter. Also a whole year older than Dante.

Dante is the new CJ Miles. As in we always keep sayin "one more year", and "he's just developing". It's disrespectful for us to keep leading him on.

I don’t mind waiting on someone to develop as long as it’s not at the cost of someone else. CJ became a decent player. I just didn’t like letting Wes Matthews go. I don’t think Dante is blocking anyone so why not hold onto him?

Homey you've crossed the line with this one. Frank Mason is like watching someone speed up to a red light only to slam on the breaks last second and go whirling out of control. Utah isn't interested. He has Trey Burke like tendencies.

But Trey made himself into a decent backup. Buddy Hield likes the guy. I was thinking have him play a year with the Stars and see if he can get his shot back.

Frank Jackson would be the ideal option for second/third guard but not sure how much Pelicans currently value him

Frank Mason was a TERRIBLE pick for the Kings, he clearly wasnt even the best PG on the board ---- That was Monte Morris who went like 20 picks later...

I'm sure Buddy likes Trey, he probably likes anyone who will attempt to match him in the gym with 3's...

Buddy i'm sure will like Cory Joseph who they just signed 3yrs 37 mil a whole lot more than Trey tho.

The question was who gets cut; Frank Mason or Yogi Ferrell, and if you saw them last year, it's not even close. no contest. Keep Yogi.

I see he is the Pel's 2nd most valuable summer league player behind Zion according on one writer. That writer had Grayson Allen as a summer league stud for Memphis and the Jazz two top players of Willie Reed and Bradley.

All reports are the pelicans LOVE frank Jackson, they've built their entire SL team around him.

It's absurd he fell to the 2nd rd.

With their youth movement, and Jrue, these other peices, Favors, should be able to play some powerful ball.n Frank fits right into that whole scheme..

Jax Hayes is the real wildcard, Zion will be solid for sure. Hayes to me is liek shades of Marcus Camby...

Buddy liked Frank, not Trey. He liked his work ethic. Buddy also thinks the world of Isaih Cousins.

Buddy Buckets would know...Hes probably somewhere in a gym right now chucking up 3's...

Frank's a dog, everyone knows that, and he's got raw speed and can shoot it - sometimes, but he's frankly a liability and not what u want here... He'd be a downgrade from Neto..
