Yeah, not sure how I missed him. With Westbrook coming in Lowry would definitely be apart. That’s more than enough money. It would have been Westbrook, Green, Kawhi, George and vet minimums for the rest of the team.
 
PG13 and Kawhi is a great duo. Usually having two top-10 players should be enough to contend. However the gap between top-x and top-y players are getting smaller each year so it's not easy to say LAC are the favorites to win it all. Also they need tons of help as their squad is particularly weak and inexperienced. They must add pieces, and really strong players not simple 3D players. The way it's now I'd say bring it on. Jazz wins in 6.
 
Did you watch national media these days? I heard Utah Jazz being mentioned as the top contender MANY MANY times. The silver lining of this signing is people will talk about LAC and LAL day and night so there will be much less pressure on Utah Jazz.

Except that Kawhi pretty much made it known from day 1 he'd rather be in L.A. Wayward pretended he wanted to be in Utah despite knowing all along he was going to go back to his college man-crush.

It also must ease the pain that he brought them a trophy before running out the door. Wawyard didn't bring us jack.

Since you can’t trade picks in consecutive years the Clips will be paying off George until 2032???

There were a couple pick swaps plus a pick or two that belonged to someone else. Jerry West may not be alive then so he’s playing with house money.

LAC pick in 2022, 2024, 2026 (all unprotected), MIA pick in 2021 (unprotected) and 2023 (1-14 protected, not sure what happens afterward) + pick swaps in 2023 and 2025.
