Miami will say no because they have high hopes for Bam, especially after they got rid of Hassan. Try somebody else.Seriously though:
Miami gets Westbrook
Utah gets Winslow
OKC gets Dragic, Bam, Exum, Herro, draft compensation from Miami, 2nds from Utah
Miami gets their guy and save money. OKC gets young players, picks and save money (this year and tons starting next year). Utah gets a starter at PF.
I haven't given up on Exum, but Winslow fits a direct need more than Exum does. If OKC is willing to dump Grant, I don't see them wanting Winslow who makes more for longer than Exum.

Luc would be a great option, IMO. See how he does coming back from that injury, and he might give us some great defensive presence. Tony Jones believes there isn't a chance that Carter would come. Not sure why. I don't think he's cited "sources" on that.
Miami would trade Bam to get Westbrook without any hesitation.Miami will say no because they have high hopes for Bam, especially after they got rid of Hassan. Try somebody else.
Right now is literally the worst time for Miami to trade bam. He's looking at a potential breakout year and his value will certainly go higher as the season progress.Miami would trade Bam to get Westbrook without any hesitation.

Alec Burks going to Golden State, backing out of his deal with OKC.
Omari spellman to GS... he looked really large at SL. @infection gonna be sad on that one though... rough day between green and spellman.
He could have been an option for us too... oh well...
Bam has potential but Miami just got Butler. Their window is right now. If you are Miami and can get a Russell Westbrook to pair with Butler, you sacrifice anybody on their roster to do it.Right now is literally the worst time for Miami to trade bam. If they trade Bam, Herro, Winslow, and Dragic for Westbrook in my 3 team scenario, Miami starts:
Westbrook
Waiters
Butler
Leonard
Olynyk
That team, outside of Waiters, is very balanced. Leonard and Olynyk will do the grunt work and spread the floor while Westbrook and Butler create all the shots.

Westbrook is not the star that's worth the expense of your young prospects. Just ask Detroit who's reportedly refusing to give away sekou in their trade offer for Westbrook.Bam has potential but Miami just got Butler. Their window is right now. Tony Jones now reporting Thabo may be an option for Utah after all. That could help with guarding James, Kawhi, etc. I say pull that trigger at this point. May be the best option left.
