Americans already have an identity that is caught up in explosives, by the way. By and large, our country is proud of what we did to Nagasaki/Hiroshima.
I wouldn't go that far to say we are proud of it.

Nah, you ban "assault rifles" and they just use semi-automatic rifles that don't fall under the "assault-rifle" category.Americans use guns because their identity is caught up in gun ownership and use.
It is a deep tradition for Americans to not only own guns, but to use them to cleanse the land ethnically. And honest look at American history would yield no less than this fact.
First of all, you can’t even take their guns away. They are so stockpiled that it would take 20 years or more to have an effective ban.
But even if you did ban assault rifles, Etc., young neo-Nazis and white supremacist looking to cultivate their identities and reputation through violent acts would simply find another way. And the cheapest easiest way to do that is arson and explosives.
Go ahead and Google it then.
It's almost like our patchwork system of gun control laws makes it really easy to drive across a border and buy as many guns as you want!https://www.keranews.org/post/el-paso-shooting-249th-mass-shooting-2019
Would you look at that! top 3 are in states ran by dems with the strictest gun control laws...

I read your reply without reading what you replied to. I assumed you were saying that "I wouldn't say we are proud of it" where I assumed "it" was gun ownership. What does this have to do with bombing japan in the 1940's?
There has been a "spike" in gun violence?I think in America the rapid spike in gun violence has be attributed to a lot of things.
Take a look at our declining life expectancy for example. Suicides and opioid overdoses has overtaken the country as the number one killer. America has a huge problem, and the population is generally not happy.
Something has to be done.

So you ban all semi-auto rifles and they use semi-auto handguns.
You ban those and they use revolvers with speed loaders.
I mean there's a long way to go until guns are no longer the preferred method of conducting these kinds of attacks.
But really, you ban one type/style and you still have people who have them that are completely unknown. These guns can remain operational for hundreds of years if even kind of cared for.
You are far more likely to cause harm to yourself by having a gun in your house than use it to defend yourself. Not sure adding another shooter isn't the best idea in a crowd of people either. There was a man with a gun at the shooting today and was momentarily mistaken as the shooter by the police. He's lucky he didn't get shot imo.The point is they make it hard for people to defend themselves or families.
Just educate yourself people. Take classes, arm yourself and pray you never have to use your weapon. You never know where the next whack job will do one of these shooting.![]()
Alaska, Louisiana, and Mississippi aren't controlled by Dems.
States with the highest gun violence rates are overwhelmingly red. Easier access to guns = much more suicide, abuse, and accidents.
Facts matter

I'm not sure you understand what a "troll" is. You know, not everything needs to be broken down into a red/blue dichotomy. So you admit the 249 number is just a troll? Sorry but when I think of mass shooting I picture a lunatic with a gun shooting into crowds. Not killing himself in a basement.

Nothing more needs to be said than simply to view that graphic. Send it to every a-hole politician who opposes gun control.

Do you really need me to tell you? It's pretty obvious man. Also, if you are taking that as a 100% literal quote, then cmon man.I'm genuinely curious which ones he's talking about.
