So curious to how all of this is playing up there in the big red state of Utah. I heard one pundit say that Romney can get away with breaking rank because Utah Republicans are not Trump Loyalists but then there's Chris Stewart that can't wait for his next opportunity to go on Fox and is one of the biggest Trump lackeys around. I remember in the old days when the Church officials used to be quite vocal about their support for the Republican party - so I'm curious about what they have to say about a guy that cavorts with porn stars, incites violence, promotes xenophobia and inhumane treatment of detainees, perpetrates falsehoods, deals in extortion and veiled threats and has no moral conscience or compunctions.
So happy to see how this is all crashing down on this dickweed and his corrupt cronies. And the fact that Giulliani, a member of the Guilliani Crime Family and a 911 insider is such a focal point makes it all the better. He and Pompeo are already pointing fingers at each other - wow, SS apparently authorizes the President's personal lawyer to conduct foreign diplomacy!!! (In the wake of the Rain Forest fires that shocked the world, which turned out to be separate and of intentional human origin, Pompeo quietly signed an Amazon development agreement.)
The US and Brazil have agreed to promote private-sector development in the Amazon, during a meeting in Washington on Friday.
They also pledged a $100m (£80m) biodiversity conservation fund for the Amazon led by the private sector.
Brazil's foreign minister said opening the rainforest to economic development was the only way to protect it.
Ernesto Araujo also hit back at criticism of Brazil's handling of the forest fires.
He told reporters in Washington that claims the country is "not able to cope with the challenges" were false.
On Friday, Finland urged EU countries to consider stopping importing beef and soybeans from Brazil in order to put pressure on Brazil to tackle the fires.
Brazil's President Jair Bolsonaro has faced criticism for failing to protect the region.
More than 80,000 fires have broken out in the Amazon rainforest so far this year.
Experts believe the majority of the fires across Brazil this year are
caused by human activity such as farmers and loggers clearing land for crops or grazing.
Environmentalists will be sceptical
By Roger Harrabin, BBC Environment Analyst
Environmentalists will say this scheme is a ruse to open up the Amazon for mining, logging and farming.
When roads are driven into the forest it attracts more settlers, who clear land and hunt wildlife.
The land clearance - even on a quite small basis - leads to changed weather patterns, which harm the forest.
Environmentalists will argue the best way of saving the rainforest is to leave it in the hands of indigenous people.
Environmentalists say Mr Bolsonaro's policies have led to an increase in fires this year and that he has encouraged cattle farmers to clear large areas of the rainforest since his election last October.
Actually hoping this disables Biden as well and that Sanders gets in so we get a REAL outsider, somebody that can really "drain the (military industrial) swamp" and start to address in concert with world leaders, the most pressing issue facing our world in the years ahead which is addressing climate change, renewed conservation efforts, and pushing towards renewable resources and away from carbon fuels. And this of course implies going head to head with the multinationals like Exon that have leveraged their future on profit at the expense of Human as well as all ecosystem well being.
