I think the better term for Reggie Bush in Miami should be "featured weapon". Ideally, Reggie does need about 20 touches per game but those touches cannot come by simply handing him the ball on a dive play. Give him around 10 rushes per game, 5 receptions and 5 kick returns and I think that's about the perfect formula for him.

I feel like Reggie in Miami could be a huge deal if he's used properly but with Sparano still running the show I'm not exactly oozing confidence on that one. If they indeed try to turn him into a workhorse type of back it's going to be a horror show.

The article said something about keeping him out of the return game. I guess it all hinges on if they bring back Brown or not.

Do you think the 49ers should sign Cromarti, if not who. As for Crab couldn't agree more. I hear SF is interested in Malcolm Floyd, 6-5 runs a 4.4, had his moments last year.

The 49ers have not done will in free agency so far. I honestly don't know who to bring in as the CB at this point. The Bengals snatched up Clements. Good luck to them. He is not that great. I am just hoping there is someone good left out there who will be better than Clements was for us.

I think the Bengals will be really good this year. Even with losing Ochocinco. Palmer will probably come to his senses and come back to the team pretty soon. Hopefully this time away has renewed his desire for the game and he will come back better than EVER!!!

Your dumb**** team has made it so not only will Palmer never play a game in a Bengals uniform again, but prominent free agents will never want to play for the Bengals, because they know the organization is likely to screw them if things go south.

Pretty excited about the Bears signing Barber to go along with Forte. Nice 1-2 punch. Not so excited that we traded Greg Olsen.

Football is a business... deal with it. The big boy world isn't always fair,

But don't worry, you'll figure this out when you get to High School.

Yea and in the business world you honor your contract or there are consequences. The consequences for Palmer are don't get paid, don't play NFL football. That's what HE has to deal with. Has nothing to do with Me dealing with ANYTHING!!!!!! But don't worry, you'll figure this out when you get to Middle School!!!!!!!

I love Cyrone saying he's not worried about the Eagles--they were very close to beating the Pack in the playoffs last year and have added NA and DMC at corner to help slow down 3-5 wr sets, added Cullen Jenkins at DT (he's much better than Bunkley who we shipped out), added arguably the best kicker in NCAA football history (and rightfully so as Akers perhaps cost us that playoff game more than anyone else last year), a double digit sack guy in Babin to put opposite Trent Cole, and had a very solid draft.

If we can stay healthy (that's a big if), and our young safeties can play not so young, he should be should scared.

It goes both ways though in your "contract", Palmer has signed with Cincy with the expectation that some promises would be fulfilled and that he would be treated fairly. I don't see anything wrong with what Palmer did, and it wasn't different then anything at least 5 pro bowlers do per year. And the Bengals rather than being gracious and getting some improvement for their team in return as an added bonus, have just decided "we're gonna be real dicks about this and teach a grown man a lesson". And being gracious as an "employer" would have only won the Bengals points... don't expect the Bengals to make the playoffs until they are sold and/or relocated.

You can piss and moan all you want, your team is going to suck **** forever, because your team management and owner wanted to teach a grown-man a lesson.

Oh YEAH??????????? Check THIS out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The-Joker, you say it goes BOTH ways but then only focus on you think the Bengals did wrong!!!! Under the contract the Bengals pay him and he plays football. Only one person is unwilling to do what they should under the contract as of now!!!!! But like I said, my guess is Palmer will realize what he's missing out on and come back like any day now.

YEah I understand that Palmer is not fulfilling his contractual obligations, but I'm saying he has a leg to stand on, especially since pro bowler trade demands aren't exactly rare. This leads me to believe that the moronicity (I know it's not a word) of the Bengal's organization might have something to do with the current moronic situation.

What is it with sports in Ohio anyway?

Bengals should suck it up and trade Palmer. They've already drafted his replacement and it's not as if Carson hasn't earned some leeway during his time in Cincy. He's played plenty of seasons on horrible squads and kept his mouth shut for the most part. Mike Brown is a joke of an owner and will continue to do nothing but run that franchise into the ground.

It's so funny that Brown could probably get a couple of decent picks for a guy who he's already replaced but instead he'd just rather let Carson sit at home in forced retirement while the Bungles get nothing in return. Well done.
