I can't remember a day when the spread was that much in the opposing teams favor. It actually looks weird.
Do we still say Thunder Up! I mean, with the new team and everything. Hmmm. I'll go ahead. Thunder Up!
Please dont beat us
we need every game. We have common enemy. The Rockets
Stockton to Malone... Mitchell to Gobert?
Mitchell shooting smart
Donovan is a nuggety bowling ball of explosive power... He could play rugby...
CP doing what he does.. P^ssing people off and collecting dubious fouls!
we kinda look like a real team out there...
…its quite disconcerting!
They've got Donovan Mitchell we've got Billy Donovan - as Jonny Lydon said: "Ever get the feeling you've been ripped off?"
Mitchell an unstoppable all star with 30!
Adams and Ferguson combined for 5 points. LOL. Schroder was leading assist man with 4. Too funny
We beat the spread! Way to go guys! TTFU!
I think with Adams it's a tough first game.. Rudy is just a lot better then Adams..
Rudy Gobert looks ready for another run at defensive Player of the Year. The Thunder had just 34 points in the paint tonight and Chris Paul didn’t even bother to try to attack Gobert on the inside for the most part, opting to dribble back out and look elsewhere.
the Jazz could be scary this season if they get things to click.
Gobert the best defender in the league. Glad we don't have to see him clog the middle every game!
Steven Adams struggled against Rudy Gobert, as is tradition. It’s likely to be Steven’s worst game of the season, until the next three games against the table-punching Frenchman.
Conley knew it though. His saying “my bad” to 20,000 Jazz fans for his horrid night made my pick-up ball self proud.
Lakers- Does this Jazz team beat team usa?
Celticw- Donnie had such a ridiculous overall night too. Absolutely turned it on in the second half
Thunder- He's so damn athletic and good. It felt like even when he missed a shot he was 100% getting that offensive rebound. Gobert's presence on defense can't be understated though. Felt like we couldn't make a shot over him at all late in the game
Nuggets- I clowned my wife and the jazz for signing mudiay. He was trash for us.
I should've known better seeing a former nugget end up on the jazz
Thunder- It felt like we were gonna scrape out a win until Mitchell just decided to slaughter our glimpse of hope when he just wouldn’t miss and when he did miss he’d get offensive boards over our whole team
Thunder- Adams was just standing there while Mitchell repeatedly grabbed his own rebounds. Baffling.
Heat- Mike Conley shooting 0.0625 from the field the remainder of the season may be rough for Utah, but Royce O'Neal 100% shooting the rest of the way will help recoup some of the losses.
Cavs- Mike Conley was still +1 on the court... Crazy
Thunder- Yeah Gobert is the one center in the league that can completely take Adams out of the game. That’s one of the reasons you guys killed us in the playoffs a couple of seasons ago.
Sonics- Man Donovan made that game look effortless. He was so ****ing smooth. His midrange game looks hugely improved (thanks Pop), he was all over the boards tonight, and it was impossible for anyone to stay in front of him. Seriously impressed by the start to Mitchell's third year.
Also want to shout out our other guys - Mudiay was ****ing hooping and O'Neale looked stellar on both ends of the floor. Rudy as always was a defensive force, and though I'm bummed it looks like the new system won't see him getting any offensive touches, I think his screening was still super important for creating separation for the Jazz today.
Bogdanovic also quickly laid to rest any doubters from his lackluster preseason showings with a really efficient midrange game. The three still isn't falling super well, but that will come with time.
Conley's performance was obviously something to write home about (in a bad way), but if we're still able to beat teams while he has the worst shooting night of his life, I think that when he's actually hitting his shots we'll be really good.
