Jazz miss Rubio on the boards way more than Favors. The issue is they have very few out of area ball-trackers. Rubio tracked rebounds that landed outside the paint very well.

Can someone help me understand why teams don't treat the end of the 1st half like they do the end of the game? If all it takes is one point to win a game, why not use a timeout to get one more possession at the end of the half.

Favors defense and rebounding was hugely overrated. Nice guy but couldn't shoot and never developed any offense outside of a screen and roll.

Fortunately, he's in the Clippers' heads from last game. So he makes a good decoy. Plus he's starting to hit that floater.

Jazz defense has been as good as ever, also.

Sure, there are some disconcerting things in the details (offensive rebounding has been pure ****, lack of size and rebounding generally), but in the big picture this team is already better and will only get better.

He looked a little lost at times, moreso on the defensive end. Rebounded well, did some nice things around the offensive basket. Overall, he was 'okay', in his first big 'important' minutes as an NBA player.
