What's new

The official "let's impeach Trump" thread

"As we close"?!?!?!?!?!?!

WTF just happened? She didn't say a word about Trump withholding funds. Wow. What in the...?

Lol now she's talking about Benghazi.

Like moths to the fire everyone around trump goes down.

I used to really like Rudy but his corruption is evident and he’ll wind up in jail.

pretty funny how he states that he has dirt in trump.

Fly into the flame, little moth.
Ya I saw that this morning. Rudy was asked if he was afraid Trump would throw him under the bus. He responded saying that he has insurance in case that were to happen. Then Rudy's lawyer interjected and said he was just joking.
Pretty funny that Rudy, a lawyer, had another lawyer on the line for a phone call interview lol.

That's Thriller for you. Fails miserably all the time but always claims victory. Kind of like Demcrats.

By disproving his false claim and answering his question? That’s “failure” to you? Annnnndddd onto the block list you go. Time to invent a new alt. Your trolling lasted one day, talk about success!

Yavanovitch is just destroying Trump, Pompeo, and Nunes here. Here comparison of state dept officials, like her testifying, to those who served in Benghazi was a direct shot at Nunes who attempted to paint her as some political toadie. Now she’s killing it by exposing Pompeo and Trump.

And it appears the only defense Donald’s toadies have is to read the first transcript and try and interrupt as much as possible with Hannity conspiracy theories.

Today is not going to be a good day for Great Leader! I need to go and teach class for a while. But I’m so glad I got this on DVR to see this. What a great day for real American patriots!

I am interested as to why Yovanovitch was removed from the embassy after 33 years of service. For one I don’t trust Giuliani as far as I could throw him.

As I said now it's EXTORTION not quid pro quo. LMFAO the lengths you all will go. You literally change your crime every single day. Literally. lolol

The quid pro quo amounted to extortion and bribery. Those two words are easier to use in pointing people to the heart of the matter, then is the Latin term quid pro quo. I believe the Democrats are simply recognizing that fact and putting things in terms more easily understandable. In everyday parlance, prior to this Ukraine mess, I doubt quid pro quo was a term that just rolled off the tongues of Americans on a frequent/common basis. Extortion and bribery bring things home in a much clearer fashion. Nobody moved the goal posts, because, by now, we all do understand the meaning of quid pro quo, and it is still being used to describe the dynamic at play between Trump and Ukraine.

Nobody changed the crime. It was a quid pro quo that involved extortion and bribery by Donald Trump.

I really don't believe you are an honest broker in this discussion.

I'm not the one changing my story. You are. Not one word of extortion until now.

Fascinating testimony by Yavonovitch regarding Trump's personal threat towards her, so powerful.

Then why did you quote my post about quid pro quo? I thought the collusion part was already settled that it didn't happen. Unlike you, I don't need others to do my talking. I'm sorry I didn't realize you did. And I'm the ignorant one... Sure.

Well, the same comment by you that mentioned quid pro quo, also dealved into collusion, as the quote above also does. Further, he directed you to a comment that spelled out the evidence that Mueller compiled that amounted to evidence of collusion by members of the Trump campaign.

As I made an effort to explain in comment #5520, which @silesian directed you to, there was indeed evidence produced of collusion. If you went by what Barr said, when he tried to diffuse any major impact the Mueller report might have, or if you are convinced by Trump following up on Barr's deception by repeating "no collusion, no obstruction", over and over and over again, then that might convince you that "collusion part was already settled". That's not the case at all. It also helps to know authoritarian leaders use the Big Lie as a tactic to control public opinion. In this instance "no collusion, no obstruction", neither of which is absolutely true, it still can be fairly debated, is such a Big Lie. This is Authoritarianism 101. Repeat a lie often enough, and it will be believed. In this case, some of us were not fooled by the Big Lie.
