That has more to do with his age. Teams simply are not willing to committ multi year contract to a 35 yr old, which is a completely different case from Bertans who just entered his prime. But yeah I'd most certainly hope we can get Bertans at MLE, cuz 45% from three on over 3 makes per game, that is quite some historical shooting performance.
 
Trade Conley and Exum for CP3... make it a three way with NY and have them route expirings to OKC for Mike... we get Marcus Morris in there somehow. CP is an annoying crybaby but he gives a **** about winning... this team looks like they need a task master not a great guy that is never gotten a technical... we need some assholes out there... no more nice guy.

I could see the Jazz moving him, especially if Conley himself isn't happy with his new situation for some reason.

I see what you’re saying and there’s always that chance but if he has a hamstring issue, that’s something one just can’t bounce back from. That was generally a 2.5-3 week thing for me if it was a strain. If I badly pulled it or blew it out, forget it.

I’d be so down for Ibaka using the full MLE but I think he’d get more than that. He’d be a legit backup 5, and I guess could start as our stretch 4 potentially too. Two way dude. Is he still pretty good?

Trade for Paul. Conley and Davis.

Exum for Morris.

Get Ibaka using full MLE.

Yeah, the only thing that makes me a bit suspicious is that a week ago Conley said he was able to play on it. This was the game where it tightened up on him.
 


They generally talk about the Jazz more than other talking heads. And we're mediocre. So it might be worth tuning in. Tony Jones is in the "this is the team and no trades will be made" camp. Which is essentially a euphemism for "they don't have any assets." So it'll be interesting to see what Woj and Lowe say.
