2 Solutions We Have On Our Roster Right Now

I mean if I were coach, not only would I shuffle some of the combinations of players out on the floor, and reward players who are playing better, ie TB, but I would also have clear KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) in place for every player. One of them would be less loss of concentration on the defensive end on backdoor cuts for example. You got beaten on a backdoor cut due to loss of concentration once? Fine, but don't do it again all game. Giving up multiple backdoor cuts in a row, like we did against the Lakers, on the same simple play they ran, is unacceptable.

Imagine Popovich was the coach, he would have somersaulted and cartwheeled onto the court calling a timeout in anger.

If the players need to be micro managed in this tough period we are having, then so be it.

I agree with the Tony Bradley take. In fact I said it in the game thread last night. I think that Ed is an overall better player than Tony. But if Quin is so gung ho about the Green/Niang pairing for spacing purposes then why is Ed the big when he's not a finisher offensively? What is the spacing for? It's like getting dressed up with no place to go. Tony is at least a finisher offensively. Gives the spacing a f****** purpose for existing.

Oof. If these are our “solutions” then we’re in bigger trouble than I thought!
Part of the solution to one of our issues... though your point is still valid... these aren’t silver bullets and we have other potentially bigger issues.

Also if we feel we need a badass vet who takes no garbage and will help our locker room there is this guy...

Davis has sucked and absolutely doesn't fit the offense, but the difference defensively is probably big enough to play him over Bradley.

I agree with the consensus about T. Bradley. He certainly earned playing time with his performance when Davis was out. I was never excited about Davis. He is worse than I remember even his rebounding and defense hasn't impressed me. On offense he has zero skills. He doesn't even look like he wants to shoot it when he manages to catch the ball.

I was more excited about Mudiay but recently he has been sucking except for a game here and there. I like the fact that he can get his own shot but in doing so there are many times where he ends up with a TO. I have seen enough of Niang. He is what he is but he is an ok shooter (streaking) but when his shot isn't falling he needs to be on the bench.

Bradley changed my mind when he filled in when Rudy and Ed were hurt. He was fantastic. He needs more court time.

He was pretty damn good in that stretch. Convinced me too that we at least need to persist with him, as long as he's playing something akin to that.

Good info with the Bradley P & R stats. As I've said in the past, hoping we can trade Niang for a 2nd (could happen as his shooting stats aren't bad).

The million dollar question is who's the PF we need.

You guys seem to forget how good Ed Davis is defensively.
He was #2 in DRPM among centers throughout 81 games last season.
His offense will never be good but he'll start defending and rebounding at an elite level eventually.

That was last year, there is no guarantee that he will do that this year, even before the injury , he hasn't
