What's new

Game 27: Orlando at Jazz vs Manheim Steamroller.

Meh. I guess we won. But it’s hard to feel excited when you see our bench give us nothing (again) and we needed superhero performances from two of our starters to barely beat a crappy Orlando team on our own home court. Meh

In a way I’d like to see movement with Exum. If we’re not going to play him then trade him. Even if it’s for a bag of chips. The Knicks are dumb enough to trade for Exum. Come on

hindsight..

not making the conley trade would have made us a pretty damn amazing team top to bottom.

having favors, crowder, bogdanovic, green would have made us really deep. Looking back, yeah sure, but thats the risks you take.

This love fest for crowder has got to stop. People have no memory I swear. He was a chucker who literally only grabbed the rebounds that fell in his lap. Watching Memphis boards, they’d give him back for a half eaten bag of chips.

Crowder was asked to be our stretch 4 and 6th man. That’s probably asking too much. His primary contributions weren’t those that jump out in a box score. Memphis is having him start. Again, too big of a role. Imo, both Crowder and Favors provided the Jazz with toughness which is sorely missing right now.

Why does this feel like a watershed moment to me? We’re the best 3 pt team in the league, both our stars look great, we can be explosive as evidenced by our comeback tonight and now we’re playing with confidence. Inserting Ingles into the starting lineup was the right move.

You’d have to think that our bench needs a tune up at the trade deadline. It’s frankly embarrassing to watch leads constantly get flushed.

Look sports are all politics. People involved with the jazz have already said that they can't bench certain players cause they'll lose the locker room. Unfortunately sometimes it's not how U perform. In this case this is exactly what's happening unfortunately. The coach should be ashamed of himself. Being scared of what players will do if he does the right thing and bench certain players

Has Quin said he is scared of benching guys?

Don't actions speak louder, rather than words? His actions have to an extent demonstrated that he isn't prepared to bite the bullet on some players, not all of course.

In any case, Jazz is being way too heavy-handed with his 'scared' comment. I would more call it 'hesitant'.

It also showed that Conley is irrelevant. Donovan needs to be the point guard.
