I think Kanter will be just fine on defense. High motor, good lateral quickness (for his size), and WILLINGNESS.
 
Enes playing well. Is it great positioning for every offensive rebound Ive seen so far, plus drawing the foul.
 
Seriously, in 4 minutes of play, with 6 Turkish possessions, Kanter got 0 touches. He set a good screen that led to a foul. He then grabbed an O-board with 3 Germans around him, got fouled, and hit 1 of 2 free throws. His D- both man and help- has been fantastic again.

Agreed 100%. I swear, the only way he can score on this team is off of failed 3 point shots.
 
The 6 Turkish possessions with Enes in:

1. Offensive foul, TO.

2. Shot clock violation, TO.

3. Shooting foul, Hedo 2-3 from the line.

4. Missed 3-pointer.

5. Missed 3-pointer (almost saved by Enes).

6. Missed long jumper, O-board Enes, foul, 1-2 from the line.


Turkey was outscored 8-3.
 
Germany was going to blow this game open at some point. Dirk could single handily beat the whole Turkish team.
 
Even if Enes doesnt score another damn point for the time, the offensive boards he gets merit him some time in the 4th. At least, in my opinion

box score says he has 1 off board... I did not see first half but did he grabbed some rebounds which are not on box score?
