August 20:Big Match Turkey&Germany-Enes Kanter&Dirk Nowitzki match is starting now:) live Link here

Sorry but you are wrong. Jonas scored 14pts/7reb vs Russia in first game and 13pts/16reb in second. He had 11pts in second game vs Spain.
do u have a link for the stats? i might have missed some points or rebounds, cause i saw the games on tv,i did my own calculating.but im pretty sure about russian game he had 7 points and 14 rebounds,,spain game 10 or 11(as u say)

here is a great performance by JV for many. But it doesnt convince me he will be a very good nba player. It is clear he is a skilled big man and he has a good wingspan, but come on, scoring 36 against some little kids doesnt make him a better player than Enes. I dont see any toughness from him, he is not gonna find the opportunity to rebound in nba as he did in this game, there is gonna be much more struggle, who can prove he will be fine guarding strong players in the post, like Garnett, Griffin, even Big Al? What we have seen from Kanter since game 1 is his toughness and motor so his game will translate to nba in a good way. But i didnt see the same thing from JV yet. He seems more like a poor mans Gasol to me , which is still not bad. But i dont think he is better than Enes at all as many people dreaming

So Besovic ( Serbian center JV destroyed in finals) at 7'2 and 250lbs is little kid? You see motor form Kanter but do not see motor and 200% effort from JV? I can't believe you just watched that video and posted this. I see exact opposite in their games, JV has showed huge leadership skills, heart, great motor and toughness. I am willing to bet with you that JV will have much better NBA career then Kanter when it is all said and done ok?

all JV can be is a good euro-league Center, thats all, which is not a bad thing,he will go to toronto next year and he will be back to europa year after that.

I didnt understand how come you came to the idea of leadership skills from highlights? We can bet if you like, but it is gonna be a long bet, and what will determine who is better? Their stats or whatelse?

Anyway the point is, i dont really see any obstacle in front of JV in that game. I didnt see he had any phsycal trouble when going to the rim, did you?
JV scored most of his points with his skills, not his effort.

Also the second game vs Spain he scored 11, while they beat spain, as it says here

I dont know what made you like JV so much? He didnt even have a very impressive performance. Enes dominated the U18 tournament when he was 16. I think it was more impressive.

I watched most of the games from U19 Worlds so I am judging not only highlights. Leaders play the best basketball when in finals and so far in both U18 Euro and U19 World where Lithuania won golds, Jonas scored 34pts vs France and 36 vs Serbia. Remind by the way how many gold medals Kanter has?
Kanter had 18pts 16reb average in U18 European tourney, Jonas had 23pts14reb3blk average in World U19 tourney, that to me is more impressive. Anyway it does not matter as you obviously like Kanter and I like Valanciunas. We will see in 3-4 years who is better in NBA.

im watching this and thinking why the hell turkish guards does not pass the ball like the lithuanians do to Jonas..he would have like 30 points and 30 rebounds every game,:)

maybe because Jonas has better pick and roll game and basketball IQ and knows how to get open?

So in 3-4 years you can come back and we'll hash this out, but until then why don't you tone down the Toronto Raptors posts please.

You seem to be pretty good at research. I've got a challenge for you. Show me a post you've made that is pro-Jazz ... other than to say we should have picked JV. Actually, I guess you never claimed to be a Jazz fan, so disregard if, in fact, you're here only trolling.

Sorry if that looks like that but what else we can discuss now during lockout? Eurobasket and play of draft picks and if Jazz made right decision. What other Jazz news are happening now? I joined this board recently because it looks most active from other boards I have been posting, believe me I am not troll:)... But I do not have disease called homerism and I tend to look at things objectively, so sorry again if I am not exctatic about Jazz pick in this draft..

Your arguements are kinda weak for me, so Lebron doesnt have any ring, means he isnt as good as bruce bowen who has many rings? But he is the best player in the world right? so medals are won by team, not by 1 player. Enes was literally a kid in u18 tourney where he dominated Jonas when played against eachother and he was the mvp of the tournament if im not mistaking. He was 16 in u18 tourney while Jonas is 19 in u19 tourney, there is much difference between. You should find the numbers of Jonas in the same u18 tourney 3 yrs ago.

I dont say JV is a bad player but there is no proof to say he is better than Enes. You should try to watch all games of Enes as well, or research the numbers he had in prep school games.

lol, so now 2 year old head to head matchup when Kanter was much bigger then JV at that time is something to judge? South Europeans mature faster then North Europeans, thats why they dominate at junior level but then fade when meeting grown men. K.Koufos dominated junior tourneys like nobody ever did with 25pts14reb3.5 blk average and what happened after that?
I guess we will see what happens when Turkey plays Lithuania in September.

it doesnt look like you re trolling but i dont understand your strong arguements for JV. You should make fair comparisons, like two of them in same tourney. I would give you credit if you come up with numbers next month and say JV scored 12 pts pg where Kanter had 8 in euro basket. But now your arguements do really seem weak

Jonas is enother lithuanian production for europa and euroleague, just like 95% of their curent roster.he aint no fit for nba.
