Kirilenko highlights in EuroBasket preparation matches

I think the tattoo added toughness. I would re-sign him. If Utah doesn't, San Antonio will.

I think you mean Chicago will, continuing their habit of signing Utah players with major flaws that aren't known to the common fan.

Thriller you act like we haven't seen AK do these things in the NBA, he does them and more/better, now if you want to talk about him being overpaid okay sure, if you want to talk about how his body may not be able to withstand the rigors of bigger NBA players and longer season sure okay. But all the other negatives being said are just bitter people holding on to their hate due to him being overpaid.

Scorpazz and Thriller:

I know you guys have lead the charge to hate AK for a long time, but I just don't get it. Other players have cried, but you wont ease up. Calling someone mentally weak is just your opinion not a fact. Yes everyone understands he was overpaid for what he produced, but AK at 4 million a year is a bargain. I just don't understand how you guys wouldn't want him back on the team under any circumstances. I'm not trying to pick a fight with either of you, but I still like the guy.

I will tell you the reason......AK IS MENTALLY WEAK!

So being mentaly weak made him MVP and winner of Eurochampionship, just few month after the season when Sloan kept him on the bench for most of the season and used him as role player in his Williams to Boozer dominated offense?

I Yes everyone understands he was overpaid for what he produced,

He produced very well in first two years of his max contract, then in 2007 he was pushed to 4th-5th option on Jazz offense, his minutes were decreased and his FG attempts dropped from 15 to 6. What he was supposed to do? He did what his coach wanted him to be - became a role player. Sloan never needed AK of 2004-2006 since Williams and Boozer started running Sloan's favorite offense. Is it AK's problem that he still had max contract? Blame anybody you want for it - O'Connor, Miller, Sloan, but don't blame AK for that.

AKMVP Don't get me wrong I don't blame AK for not producing up to a max contract. However, if you close your eyes and say your willing to offer a max contract to one player on a team, would you offer that max contract to AK? Keep in mind in your answer that AK has been injured a lot before you answer. I love AK. I want AK back. I want to pay AK 4 million a year. I hope he comes back and plays for the Jazz.

Excuse-making leads to one place the vast majority of the time. A bull's bottom where the poopy comes out, that's where!

I love the fear of swears here.

However, if you close your eyes and say your willing to offer a max contract to one player on a team, would you offer that max contract to AK? .

in 2004 no doubt. If not Jazz any other NBA team would have snatched him. Now it is a different storry.

I have to say that there are probably only two guys at 6-9 who could pass better than AK, at least that I can recall off the top and this is going back to the 60s: Magic and Bird.

I know this will get interpreted as an anti Jerry post, and it kind of is, but one of the biggest mistakes of recent years was not having AK post up 3's.

AK is an amazing player, i would like him to stay in a mid level contract
