What's new

The Bradster Season

If it were two years ago and we had Tony playing like this, I’d be pretty happy. But if we are all-in, then he’s not on our timeline. I think the best case scenario is that he uses this month to build some kind of trade value. And that we either cash that value in now, or in the offseason.

I like Tony, doe. I think he’s a rotation player in-the-making.

Tony support, obvi.

In all honesty, you’ve been one of the few level heads, doe.
I mean, I've supported him since we drafted him as being potentially useful. I've been disappointed with him this year, but I'm glad he's getting a chance.

I thought it was pretty clear that Utah drafted him as a project. Anyone expecting him to play well out of the gate just had unrealistic expectations. Last year was really unfortunate for him because Udoh played well early and earned the backup C minutes, only to lose his PT to Favors because Quin felt like he couldn't play him next to Gobert. There flat out just weren't enough minutes for Bradley to develop last year. Fans who expected him to develop while getting spot/garbage minutes were just not being realistic.

Agree with all. My hypothetical statement was more along the lines of “Of we had drafted Bradley two years before we did, and he started playing like this two years ago...” I wish he fit our timeline better.
