What's new

Game 2 turkey-montenegro result 74-72

Kanter seems to score most everything inside but what is so encouraging is the fact that he hits his freethrows so well it would suggest that hitting that 15-17 footer with some consistancy in games is something that will be seen by him in the future making him a hard man to guard.

He's got definite range out to 3. However, he's a big that knows where the advantages are and likes to power it to the rim. This is purely speculative, but I would put him at 33 - 35% shooter from the perimeter.

Sadly, no different than Miles, a shooting guard.

Looks like they haven't updated Kanter's height.

2.08 meters converts to 6 feet 8 inches.
No it doesn't. 1 meter = 39.3700787 inches.

2.08 * 39.3700787 = 81.889763696 inches = 6'9.889763696'' or pretty much 6'10'' (less than 1/9'' off, which is far better than the 1/4''+ over you'd be by using 2.09m as his height).

In other words, Kanter's height is listed correctly by European standards.

Edit: Actually, Kanter measured out at 6'9.75'' without shoes pre-draft, so 2.08 overstates his actual height slightly.

Google converter has lied to me then. https://lmgtfy.com/?q=2.08+meters+to+feet
